a repeat of Fox’s K-Ville (Viewers: 3.33 million; A18-49: 1.2/ 4)
Fox's best performance there yet. 5th Grader remains a stable 8pm option but shouldn't be used on Fridays unless it is completely necessary. I actually think American Band, which Fox is promoting a lot may be competitive in the demo, but not so much in overall viewers.

I think 20/20 will definately take the demo. It might be a bit premature assume that MIT will beat Numb3rs this year. The wildcard is Women's Club against Moonlight.
I wouldn't call GW filler. Most shows are down year-to-year, and so is this one. But it still does okay. HUT levels are lower on Friday.

I think some people seem to think that the CBS and NBC drops on this night are a sign of there being an opening for another network to come in. I think it is a sign of how difficult it will be for that new ABC (and FOX) lineup to work. These drops have much more to do with the changing viewing habits than these shows popularity if you ask me.
The key for that ABC lineup will be Womens Muder Club. Since it is facing a couple of young shows, and whatever Fox is doing that week, it will have the best chance. If it can do well, then they might have something they can build with.
I would like to echo the sentiments already expressed...YAY for Moonlight! Love the show and very happy for the cast and crew that the ratings are very promising especially after gawd and country were not only mocking the show but kicking sand in its face.
Good on you mate!!!

Originally posted by Hawk-eye: AS for FNL, I've had some fun with the show about high school football being put on the high school football night of the week, but those numbers are actually better than I thought. The Friday slot will probably still be the death of what has to be a pretty expensive show for its timeslot. Still, a tiny hope for its fans, I suppose.
I agree. But if those numbers hold, it will probably be enough to stay on for a full 2nd season.
Murder Club will kill Moonlight for good next friday. Moonlight is so poorly shot. Did you see the part last night where they were in the car together driving. The car had no top and there hair wasn't even moving. Go murder club.
Don't do it to yourself, do it to others.

U are absolutely right, but tell that to CBS. They cancelled Close to Home which was doing 10+ million viewers and 2.5 in demos beacause it skewed so old. If Moonlight stays at this levels it will be lucky to survive one season. But nothing more
I disagree .. CBS seems much more behind Moonlight so I think these ratings could mean ordering additional episodes and possibly a renewal in the works but yes it is still early yet and anything can happen of course but still this show was written off as dommed from the start yet people are watching and it shows !!
Pam
People weren't writing it off as doomed. They were writing it off as a piece of crap. Which it is. But most everyone realized that in a non-competitive night like Friday, and protected on both sides by GW and Numbers, it would probably do okay in the ratings. Doesn't change the fact that it's a horrendously bad show.
