Yea, I see what you mean. They're all funny and draw over 10 million viewers.

A better option would've been to try out Miss/Guided, which has gotten good reviews from many critics and looks comparable to Samantha Who. I'm saddened by October Road's numbers but not at all surprised. Perhaps it should've just stayed on Thursday and Men in Trees been given the Monday tryout.
I watched NFtU last night and I didn't think it was funny at all. I don't think I will bother with it again.
I agree that October Road would have been best left as a lead-out to Grey's Anatomy. ABC still hasn't found something that works in that Thursday spot. Meanwhile, it would not surprise me at all if Charlie Brown was the highest rated show on ABC Mondays for the next several weeks.

With only two days remaining in the very competitive November Sweep, ABC holds a narrow 0.2 lead over CBS in the young adult demo with a first place 3.6 A18-49 average. CBS is second with an average 3.4 in A18-49.
If Cane was not in the Mix, CBS would have had a chance at over taking ABC. All 4 hours of Cane in the period had to be equal to a 0.2 drop, or more, in the monthly average.

And had ABC pulled all the episodes of Cavemen/Carpoolers and preempted Big Shots for things that rated well, they would've done well too. Not to mention, had Thanksgiving not been in the mix, ABC would be ahead by about .4 by now.

But they better watch out. Telemundo is rising pretty quickly and MyTV is not that far behind either.
FOX and NBC better watch out for Univision. It is already beating them on some nights and their audience is growing quickly.
Not much reason for anyone to worry about MNTV. That network is only growing because they have all but stopped using original progamming. Growth is not sustainable without original content.
Fox doesn't have to worry. The Death Star will propel them to the top here soon, if it doesn't happen before then. NBC, on the other hand, is a sitting duck.

Or it just so happens to sit in between CBS's highest rated comedy and Monday's highest rated drama.

I'm pretty sure that CBS has the power to pull Cane. I'm somewhat less sure that ABC had the power to pull Thanksgiving.

LOL. I still think they should've went with a movie on Wednesday and then used maybe a Barbara Walters special on Thursday with Greys and the October Road SEASON PREMIERE not special preview crap that only confuses people. Oh well. Nothing surprising considering its McPhearson making the calls.
Hey dumb question...but when is 'New Adventures of Christine' coming back...and which show will they take off to air it in it's place...my guess would be 'How I Met Your Mother' ..since 'Big Bang Theory' is far funnier and does better in the demos... - but i still like Mother though .... - oh my gosh...why isn't anyone talking about how BAD Marie Osmond was last night - what a hoirrible routine ... go Mel and Max !!!!

No, but ABC should have aired The Polar Express on Thanksgiving instead of original episodes of their regular series. To be honest, I don't get their scheduling. GA airs the first part of a two part storyline on Thanksgiving and then airs a repeat of the season opener the following week and two weeks later the second part.
A hint that Medium will be moved to Monday night after Heroes?
I'd like to see that happen, but after more than a year, I've come to the conclusion that it would clash with NBC's not-enough-sense-to-come-in-from-the-rain school of scheduling.
