FOX, CBS, NBC will air the Obama infomercial tonight.
MSNBC, Univision, BET, and TVOne are apparently joining them in airing this program (the last two as part of a 'get out and vote' push). Marc: Can I put in a request now for the halfhour splits on ANTM and Pushing Daisies? I expect the split for ANTM to be bigger than usual.
I can not wait until stupid election day comes so I don't have to here about Obama and McCain.
Thank you, Walter--that was garbled and heartfelt. And pretty much everybody on the planet wishes it was already over. Except for McCain, of course. G'night.

FYI, Top Model and Stylista are being pre-empted in LA for a Lakers vs. Clippers basketball game.

"FOX should really think about taking a page from "24" and not running repeats of "Fringe" anymore. At least not in the same time slot. They're only going to serve to lower its season average considerably. "
Wasn't the World Series supposed to be on at that time? If so, the mediocre ratings for a repeat of Fringe probably have to do with the fact that it wasn't scheduled. What else was Fox supposed to put on at that time?
Thanks for being so knowledgeable and giving me the good news. I say CBS/CW because those were the stations affected in our area.

It isn't really a CBS issue. It is an issue with the local affiliate owner: LIN TV. In Indy, CBS is off the cable system. In greenbay, FOX is the one booted off of cable. In Austin, TX, it is NBC that got the boot. In any case, the problem was resolved today: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117994860.html?categoryid=14&cs=1
I'm a bit surprised that they would not act like nbc and keep the critically acclaimed shows on the air -- like they do with the low rated 30 rock and the office. Perhaps they will decide tonight since it will be the only show for the first half hour that is not the obama show.

You know simon baker's other show that was in this same time slot -- the guardian -- did very well in the ratings even when it was cancelled -- just like they cancelled close to home. So I wonder if they will banish this show to Fridays? Isn't repeats of the mentalist better than ncis on Fridays?
