It is a pure disaster if you compare it to last year House ratings at 9pm (didn't this 'sometimes' factor in Marc's Winners and Losers?). FOX made a very bad decision with their Tuesday schedule, unless they plan to end House this year.
How do we know House's ratings wouldn't have gone down some anyway?
You do realize it's painfully apparent you're just peeved about Fringe doing so much better than SCC, right?
I think people need to remember that the only reason House's rating are what they are today is because of American Idol. It was struggling in its first season before the AI bounce. Since then, the show has been solid.
Well, the logic with Fringe seems to not let it tank early, and have American Idol bulk the ratings up to 15+ mil viewers. Thats when the inevitable hookup of Josh Jackson's character and the girl character will happen. The big conspiracy will begin to be unravaled, and the most interesting "occurences" will take place...

There is some doubt about the stability of the lead actor; something about him wanting to be at home rather than doing the TV series. House had planned a spinoff, but I guess FOX decided to shelve that idea for awhile too. I agree that the House lead-in is being wasted on Fringe, but really, FOX doesn't have anything better to waste it on.
About time BL made the honorable mention board. Its up or flat year to year on a network down 20% and not many shows could sustain 2 hours every week. It is one of few NBC bright spots.
SCC wouldn't pull anywhere near Fringe #'s after House/Idol. Fringe repeats do well compared to most other shows, but for a procedural it should repeat better (atleast in total viewers).
Saying that, I've stopped watching both SCC/Fringe. Fringe bored me, and the tacky writing/bad acting (Especially that of Thomas Dekker and the ginger Terminator) on SCC was just getting worse, to the point where I could no longer stand it.

Hey, they could always continue House without--you know--House. Or they could try a CGI Hugh Laurie. He could just phone in his dialogue. Frankly, I think he's doing that already.
The Mentalist is doing absolutely great. It actually started building out of NCIS in the demo, and it may start to do it in viewers too until the end of the season.
On another note, look at those 18-34 numbers for CBS! Is it really THAT important to advertisers?
quote:
Wow! Fringe dropped more than 3 full points in the 18-34 demo?
What's the surprise? It did in the 18-49 demo too, so? Remember, it's a repeat.

And what tipped you off--a Fringe repeat getting a 2.5 in the demo against potent first-run competition, when SCC managed a 2.4 for its hugely hyped second season premiere against DIDLEY SQUAT?

Considering it has never pulled that off before and that NCIS was up against a new and very successull episode of House, while virtually nothing was on at 9, I'd hold the horses on that a while longer.
nothing was on????
DWTS, Biggest Loser....ya nothing.

Well, it is obvious you haven't watched yesterday episode. House is as good as it has ever been, and shows no sign of decline. How many shows can say that in their 5th season?
Now, I understand that Hugh Laurie is quite a diva, and could jeopardize the future of the show. Still, the decision to move the series to 8pm was just silly.
