I agree FOX will win with CBS eeking past NBC for second. Yes, I know they are almost a full point behind NBC, but the Pats/Jags games this week should be bigger than the 8.4 for last week's Wildcard game, when the Jags beat the Steelers.

If 30 Rock wasn't described as offering up a musical interlude, it would not likely have been compared to Viva Laughlin...except maybe in terms of its ratings.

This isnt Everybody Loves Raymond or Roseanne, it will never appeal to the masses unfortunately.
It isn't M*A*S*H, Cheers, or Seinfeld, either. It is more like Arrested Development.

I think these are correct:
Marc's Fast Nationals - NBC 3.7, FOX 3.6, ABC 2.8, CBS 2.8.
ABC has a 2-hour EM: HE and B&S. FOX has the premiere of Sarah Connor Chronicles after the playoff game. CBS has Comanche Moon, and NBC has the awful replacement for the Golden Globes.
I have a feeling that "Comanche Moon" is going to be a disappointment for CBS, at least in terms of 18-49s. The network was originally going to burn off this mini, which has been sitting on the shefl for a year, during the New Year's holiday. At the last minute they decided to try it against the "American Idol" premiere dates.
Originally posted by whatsonpop: Heres' the list: This series will follow the real-life experiences of Brigitte Nielsen, Chyna, Daniel Baldwin, Jeff Conaway, Jessica Sierra, Jaimee Foxworth, Seth "Shifty" Binzer, Mary Carey, and Ricco Rodriguez as they undergo detoxification and treatment at a center in the Los Angeles area.
Who the hell ar Jessica Sierra, Jaimee Foxworth, Seth "Shifty" Binzer, Mary Carey, and Ricco Rodriguez???
Never heard of any of them.
I myself only recognized Baldwin (taking a Limo?), Neilsen, Chyna, and Mary Carey (because she tried to run for Governor of California).
Jessica Sierra was a contestant on AI, but she's become a total mess in Tampa. Youe should really see This SP Times Article after her 2nd Arrest.
quote:
According to Tampa police, Sierra, now 22, spewed racial epithets and offered to perform a sex act on a police officer, attempting to avoid arrest early Saturday on misdemeanor charges of disorderly intoxication and obstructing an officer without violence.
There's also rumours of Pregnancy and a Porn tape. She's now going through another round of rehab by the clinic (Buy one, get one free?)
Jaimee Foxworth was on "Family Matters" before being conveniently forgotten when Urkel took over the show and has now followed Cindy Brady into Porn under the name "Crave". Go figure.
And Ricco Rodriguez was a UFC fighter, which we may be needing to pay more attention to if this Writer's Strike keeps going on.

Sheesh...and to think that I was mocking Trump's ability to attract 'stars' to his show.

I have a feeling it will, using the most overused and useless term on this forum, skew old. Still, it is a relative thing. If it does as well as, or better than, CBS' normal Sunday repeat fare then there is no major loss given the shortage of orignal programming - especially at CBS.

i had no idea Cindy Brady went into porn! I gotta get out more...

CBS should win Friday and with football on Saturday they should triple up on the other networks. Sunday will be a free for all, with only NBC taken out of the running by the WGA.
Okay, folks...its time for me to start nagging about signing up for my next webcast -- Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. ET. If you can't be there live, sign up anyway...it will be archived for 90 days and this is your chance to email in questions about anything TV related. The link is below.

As for the show...I saw the person that got booted give their final comments. Two weeks in a row that I have had no idea who the 'celebrity' even is. Honestly, you would think that Trump could get some real celebs for his show.
I may be showing my age, but I definitely know who Nadia Comaneci was. She first gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10 in an Olympic gymnastic event in Montreal, and the world fell in love with her and girls like Mary Lou Retton trained to be like her. Unfortunatly she hit puberty and Bela Karoli defected and she was left in the lurch in Soviet-type dictatorship of Romania.
She looks a lot different than she used to, but you really should know her name.

My estimates (18-49) for this week, Mon - Sun
FOX 3.8 (Mon and Sun fb; Sarah Connor CBS 3.6 Sat fb; Commanche on Sun NBC 3.0 Golden Globe hodge-podge ABC 2.7
For the season, CBS and NBC will fight for 2nd place.

I didn't watch the show, but caught the last minute as I was waiting for ER to start. The preview for next week's Apprentice suggested that they would 'finally show what started it all' between Simmon's and baby Trump. Clearly, Simmons is being edited for the Omarosa 'bad guy' role this season.

I thought that the "Missing Clips" was to be show during this Saturday's encore airings of the first 2 episodes.
But I believe they said that they were going to show more footage about what really caused the rift between them on Saturday in an attempt to get us to watch the repeats.

Basically, he/the team didn't take the time out of planning the task to talk with her. Basically, he kept talking and said "She will wait".
Then, as she was leaving, he asked if she was going to tell her fellow ladies (the womens team) their plans?
Basically a lot of nothing "Trumped" up by the promos.

You made an attempt to compare 30 Rock with popular TV shows that you think are 'rural/simplistic/stupid/whatever just so you could infer that 30 Rock was superior. I just pointed out that 30 Rock doesn't compare with intelligent comedies, either.
