Now you know why they pulled it out of December (and away from repeats). To make the numbers even more horrific. I guess completely stopping any and all promotion for it wasn't the least they could do. And still, better treatment than a dozen shows got from McFearsome last season.
"Earl" had a wink and a nod to "Yes, Dear" last night. Anyone catch it?

I guess the viewers got to go. Poor "30 Rock."
-- "Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."
The Celebrity Apprentice should pickup a little once more repeats start into the mix. Of course, AI always has a few episodes on Thursdays in late Feb. or early March. I believe they start at 8:00, but I don't remember if those are 1 or 2 hour shows. Either way it won't help the “number one” shows performance.
Everything last night is about what you expect. Survivor should bolster the CSI repeats a bit as all the nets run low on originals.
So, what exactly did Gene Simmons to do provoke Trump and Ivanka? What was the outcome? (I don't wach the show.)
Apparently, Simmons' Ugly Betty episode(s) will be coming up soon, as Amanda decided last night (with the help of a psychic played by guest star Annie Potts) that he must be her father.
I watched 30 Rock last night for the first time in a while and I can explain its ratings in one comment: it isn't funny. From the boring and cliche German telecast buying plotline to the overdone redneck coal town to the mismatched musical number in the end, it didn't work. It was disjointed and boring. Maybe it was a bad episode and I shouldn't judge to harshly, but it sure didn't do much to attract a casual viewer of the show. On a side note, My Name is Earl was funny and did live up to the hype.
I dont see NBC cancelling this show. I believe it's ratings are up versus last year season to date and it also gives NBC a pedigree show. Just my opinion and wishful thinking!

SPOILERS...
She came to check up on the group while they were working on the task. First he said she could wait (first boo boo) then as she was leaving he made a comment about her sharing their stuff to the female group because she's female (2nd boo boo) I felt like Trump kinda laughed it off he said no one insults my daughter but ehh my first thought was if this was a regular guy he would have been fired instantly..
THINK ABOUT IT.....that impacts Grey's year to year decline.

Desperate Housewives now is the #1 scripted show in TV with those numbers
Irrelevant. Notice he didn't do a year-to-year comparison, because it probably was a repeat. As for "normal January original levels" -- that is all of January.
Also at 9 p.m. was week two of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice (Viewers: #3, 8.13 million; A18-49: #3, 3.5/ 9). Although Celebrity Apprentice dipped by 2.95 million viewers and 22 percent in the demo from its week-ago season-premiere (Viewers: 11.08 million; A18-49: 4.5/11 on Jan. 3), worth noting was growth of 2.16 million viewers and 25 percent in the demo from lead-in 30 Rock. Go Gene Simmons!
Gene WAS awsome last night. He will sweep this edition of the game.
Next week, he will same the Women's team from another defeat.
For those Gene Simmons fans, He will be a guest star on the January 24th Epiaose of Ugly Betty.
I'm thinking that at least two of the three of Las Vegas, Friday Night Lights, and 30 Rock will be cancelled. NBC, inspired by their mid-season jump, is going to want to start fresh.

Viva 30 Rock??? That sounds worse than the original or even Viva Cavemen.
I dont see how you can even mention 30 Rock and Viva or Cavemen in the same post. Apples to Oranges.

Don't forget to include that show you like: American Gladiators.
That's Emmy material compared with these two shows
I thought the musical number was great too. Also the captioning of German Group because Liz didn't remember her German all that well.

Jack: Care for a drink?
Liz: I can't, there are too many phones in here.
Also, it took me a while on "Celebrity Rehab" to figure out that was Jeff Conaway from "Taxi" and not some rocker from a hair band in the 80's. No one could figure out what he was saying. Very Tragic.

So, who wins the demo this week? We have had three different winners in four nights this week with only CBS froze out so far(which will change on Saturday for sure). Is anybody original on Sunday?
I think these are correct:
Marc's Fast Nationals - NBC 3.7, FOX 3.6, ABC 2.8, CBS 2.8.
