Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Also, since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 9 percent in early 2006-07 to approximately 20 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted.
----------
-Saturday’s Winners: Nothing, as usual.
-Saturday’s Losers (excluding repeats): The night overall.
----------
-Ratings Breakdown: CBS finished first overall on this Saturday, with its combination of a repeat of CSI: Miami (Viewers: #1, 8.09 million; A18-49: #1, 2.6 rating/ 9 share), a repeat of CSI (Viewers: #1, 8.84 million; A18-49: #1, 2.3/ 7) and 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: #1, 6.45 million; A18-49: #2, 1.8/ 5). Due to some potential late starts caused by a football overrun, all results are approximate for CBS.
Fox’s perennial combination of Cops (Viewers: 5.78 million; A18-49: 1.9/ 7) and America’s Most Wanted (Viewers: 6.30 million; 2.1/ 6) finished second in every half hour in households, total viewers and adults 18-49. Third was Saturday Night Football on ABC, with 5.37 million viewers and a 1.7/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 8-11 p.m. And last in every half hour was NBC’s repeat line-up of Bionic Woman (Viewers: 3.76 million; A18-49: 1.0/ 3), Chuck (Viewers: 3.45 million; A18-49: 1.0/ 3) and Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: 5.01 million; A18-49: 1.4/ 3). All together now…what a night!

mushu_jj, you submitted a duplicate of Coach Taylor's roster in Game #50 of the P.I. Feedback Challenge.
Marc, is it possible to just keep the Big Brother 8 thread? It was clearly the most active discussion there among summer TV shows this past summer. (I know - I'm biased!)
By the way, final standings for Game #44 of the P.I. Feedback Challenge have been posted.
15 forum members have participated in Game #50 of the P.I. Feedback Challenge - it's not too late to join in! Play right now!

Quite funny that CBS gets the same demo numbers on Saturday with 2/3 repeats as on Fridays with all-new programming. I wouldn't be surprised if their Friday line-up pulled in well above 10 million viewers if moved to Saturday.
I believe CBS's overrun was past the 9:00 hour. That is probably why CBS got the 2.6. LSU/Alabama on CBS wasn't as good a game as Notre Dame/Navy on NBC earlier in the day (Congrats to the Mid-shipmen for breaking a 43 year losing streak). Still, a good game and good ratings for the SEC game on CBS.
Funny ... CBS, with it's SEC schedule, seems to be able to out-rate ABC's heavy Big Ten, ACC, and others games schedule. Of course, next year that could change depending on the conferences's relative strenghts. Still, Disney got what they wanted. Basically, Disney had a game on ESPN and one on ESPN/ABC, so with the combination they are still reaching a decent number of young viewers.
NBC, what can you say other than it didn't cost them anything.

There's absolutely nothing worth mentioning on Saturdays. It will be interesting if NBC does put American Gladiators on Saturday as previously rumored. It might jumpstart a practically dead night of TV.
The most interesting thing today will be how the strike negotiations and the "emergency" meeting progress.
I read on Futon Critic, that the meeting is starting at 5 PM. I would assume that's Pacific Time, so it hasn't happened yet. I would guess we would start gettings leaks about the progress around 8 PM PST. I too am hoping for them to come to an agreement.

Anything yet? I can't find anything and it's really frustating.
I don't know about anyone else, but 48 Hrs. Mystery didn't even air here. Football overrun ran from 8 - 9:30, then CSI:Miami from 9:30 - 10:30, and then a CSI:NY repeat from 10:30 to about 11:30.

My optimism is not very high.
Anyway... this night sucks.
and yeah... CBS Primetime didn't start til just before 9:30pm ET!
I wonder if the networks are going to ask the writers to take a cut on the amount of money they get for network scripts since the ratings are plummeting.
I understand their desire to get more $$ for DVD, Internet, and mobile devices, but they should expect a pay cut on the TV broadcasts - especially with the networks falling apart.
