I don't know if anyone is going to report the ratings today, but I have a Hollywood Reporter story to go by so here it goes:
CBS:
The Big Bang Theory - 11.4 million/4.2 18.49 How I Met Your Mother - 11.4 million/4.6 18-49 Two and a Half Men - 17.9 million/5.6 18-49 Worst Week - 12.1 million/3.6 18-49 CSI: Miami - 14.4 million/3.8 18-49
ABC:
I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown! - 7.4 million/2.2 18-49 20/20 - 3.7 million/1.2 18-49
NBC:

TravisYanan will be handling the duties while Marc is away this week. He usually posts the data closer to 1pm on those days.

Nice ratings for Chuck. Although Heroes does much better in the demos it almost tied Heroes in overall viewers. It looks like when Dancing with the Stars is out of the picture, Chuck is around last year's numbers. If Chuck keeps that up it has a good shot at getting a 3rd season, especially with the struggles of NBC. However when House starts airing at 8pm on Mondays Chuck may dip back into the mid 6 million numbers.
Great numbers for the CBS Comedies. Hopefully they can keep it going after the New Year.
Chck did well, but Heroes is toast. Barely any bump, if any, for the Fall Finale. I still have to watch on DVR, but my guess is that this will be my LAST episode Heroes I watch.
CBS got some series highs because of lackluster FOX and ABC programming. Really good numbers for the comedies, WW included.
Over at FOX, it wasn't much of a fall finale for either PB or Terminator. House/24 ought to do much better when they debut in their Monday timeslots.
CW didn't get much out of repeats. ABC was way off track. Charlie Brown was off it's normal ratings. 20/20: High School Musical was way off and produced terrible ratings. Again, this shows that a Disney idea doesn't work on ABC.
NBC got a typical Chuck and Heroes performance. However, I'm surprised that with little competition and a fall finale, Heroes couldn't at least grow their audience a little bit and cross the 8 million mark. It's really down and I don't see it picking back up in the ratings. MOWE earned typical numbers in its last episode.
When House moves in, Chuck and the CBS comedies are more likely to experience ratings drops. DWTS skews older and likely doesn't fall in the audience that would watch House.

DWtS BBT/HIMYM Chuck
My Hope is that DWtS takes the hit so Chuck and the comedies can continue to grow.
'20/20: The Making of a High School Musical' got about the same numbers as 'High School Musical: Get in the Picture' gathered up in the summer. I watched bits of it, and it was an interesting behind-the-scenes of a high school staging 'The Wiz'.
'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicle' finished up with an episode that introduced some new characters and looks to set-up a re-boot of the series when it comes back on Fridays in February.
Finally, thank you to NBC for airing the full set of episodes of 'My Own Worst Enemy', which bumped up a bit in A18-49s from last weeks episode. Hopefully, Mr. Slater will return to television with another series sometime soon.
How about this ? I think House takes a hit, and does not get 14 million. I think FOX is making a mistake putting House in such a competitive time slot. Even though I think House will be strong, it will not be as strong as it has been on Tuesday. You would be amazed how loyal a fan base the CBS sitcoms have built. They are about as big a buzz in the TV forums as they have been in the ratings.

Compared to what? T:SCC, sure. But watch what happens once Chuck doesn't have Sarah Connor to kick around anymore.
Compared to what? That's pretty obvious. Compared to how Chuck was doing for the rest of the season, compared to how other NBC shows are doing, and compared to the ratings of TV shows in general. It's slowly grown in that time period after its huge drop off from the season opener. In fact it's surpassed it's season opener numbers which was stated here earlier was very unlikely to happen, as the season opener is usually a show's highest rated episode (that and the finale).
Chuck was around these numbers last year when it got renewed, and with a struggling NBC that may happen again. The thing is I do not think it will maintain these numbers once House begins to air at 8pm on Mondays.
