I actually liked SCC. I think the concept is pretty interesting. Even my mom liked it and she is really not a big fan of scifi shows. Suprising ratings and like many others have stated, the ratings for tonight will really tell the story.
SCC starting off with 8.1, and ending with a 7.1 isn't too bad. Looks like 7 out of every 8 people liked what they saw.
Right, because nobody ever keeps watching something they don't think is that great, simply because there's nothing else on TV they're interested in watching. That NEVER happens. Like all those people who kept watching PD, then gradually stopped watching--they all died of natural causes.
Sci Fi show support tends to be very overinflated on the internet. Journeyman were on a bunch of people's schedules on multiple boards. Now it's been cancelled. No one puts Extreme Makeover Home Edition on their schedule and yet it pulled in 13 + million. I don't think schedules mean much.

With a new launch date for Skynet only being about 3 years away (April 11, 2011), I bet we could see that in Season #4.

Trying to stop skynet storyline has been played over and over and imo has run its course. This show just feels like T3 all over again with a a younger John. Why can't they just have a show that takes place after the events of T3 with a war between humans and the machines which most fans want to see.

That's Terminator 4 and it will be a movie.

Of course, there may have been a few Cowboys fans leave their house, after the game, and didn't turn off the TV.
Really, you can't come up with any better negative spin than that??? We do expect better from you vlis.

Yeh, it'll probably drop a million or 2 tonight, but there's no way its going to pull a BW. This show is atleast decent (AWESOME in my opinion), we all know how bad BW was. I think SCC will settle in the 16 million range.
FOX has finally found another winner!
I'm among those who did just that, and i'm not even a big football fan. But the end was rather dramatic so i watched and after the match, not having other things to watch, i left my TV open on FOX
All of the new CBS reality shows sound terrible. It's a big what were they thinking moment. If any of them hit, then it just proves that some people will watch any reality show/game show that comes along.

Peace!!
The true test will be next Monday. How many will stick around for a 3 airing? After 3 airings, we MIGHT see a trend on how it will do.

No, that has been proven LONG, LONG ago!
How else can you explain the success of Americas Got Talent, Big Brother, DWtS, AI, DOND, etc...
Glad to see AMAZING RACE beating HOME MAKEOVER(in the first hour) as that hasn't always been the case...and was glad to see TERMINATOR and TAR BOTH do well!
Those numbers for AMERICAN DAD should put it into the winner column or at least honorable mention.
