Capping off Monday was CW duo Gossip Girl (Viewers: #5, 3.34 million; A18-49: #5, 1.6/ 4) and One Tree Hill (Viewers: #5, 3.43 million; A18-49: #5, 1.7/ 4), which built from the year-ago rotation of Everybody Hates Chris, Aliens in America, Girlfriends and The Game by an average of 212,000 viewers and 70 percent among adults 18-49.
Marc, I think your year to year numbers are a bit off. I think you will find that the CW built by close to 1 million viewers from last year.
Good job by the CW. I bet they are hoping Privledged will mirror how Gossip Girl turned out and Tuesday will mirror the success Monday is having. Add in a solid Thursday, and the CW is not far away from being turning in from a dog to a small hit.
Chuck. Love watching it. I think that is a small uptick from last week. If it settles into the same pattern it did last year, it will slowly increase over the season. Hopefully it does. I would like to see it hang around.
CW small hit? You must be kidding me. A small hit with 2 million viewers? WTF?
If The CW averaged 3.5-4 million viewers each week and continuously wins the demos it is currently each night, then yes, it would be a small hit, albeit a very niche hit.
At this point they have major problems on Friday and Sunday, the days that are averaging less than two million. But if they can turn a corner with those, then see the paragraph above.

The CW was in the ICU on life support after 90210 went down in half after the premiere. GG and OTH doing well in demos on Mondays and bringing up yty ratings in demos is just a good sign that the CW may be released to a regular sick bed. It still has lot of problems to fix (overall low numbers, ANTM dipping yty, SV's demos going down yty, Friday demo disaster, Sunday tanking) before it is in sound financial shape.
Also, 90210 has stabilized, but the season is young, it isn't out of the woods yet.
But CSI:NY has one thing going for it.... It DOESN'T have David C. on it.

Read what was written my friend. Nowhere did I say that in their current form are they a hit. They are floating on one or two nights. I only posited an if/then statement for the future. They are not there yet though I think it is feasible to a certain extent.

In my own fantasy world, WW would work nicely after Samantha Who and it's funnier than all of the last season of the show. (This season might be different if it's like the premiere was though.) Both shows have likable characters. It's a shame they both are on at the same time.
Speaking of True Blood Anna Paquin Showed us the goods yesterday
I was surprised by that.
She's doing amazing work. I'm expecting Emmy nomination next year. Best episode of TB yet. I'm not surprised, I expect the best from writer Raelle Tucker.
Huh? I believe I'm the only one on record here to say anything positive about the show (although I haven't registered into the official Worst Week fan club yet) and I have haven't said anything like what you mentioned below.

PS - Worst Week is the #1 New Comedy!
Sorry, nothing personal, I do think Worst Week does have a couple of other fans here, but they have not commented yet. However, it did get a bump in the ratings, which CBS will use to keep in on the air, even though in reality its ratings still stink.

Make up your mind, dude.
Whoa, CW's lineup is a winner. Too bad Sunday and half of the weekday schedule are on life support.
