I expected WW to do much worse. CSIM really has a problem if it needs a lead-in
As much as i like CSIM the numbers are ........... yes you've guessed "terrible" Smiler

If HEROES gained a little this week I think you can attribute that to PRISON BREAK being off the air.

ENEMY will probably fade more next week with the curiousity/sampling factor out of the way.

Agreed. Having Denny and Alan together last night really made the episode. As far as I'm concerned, the show could just be about them and I would keep watching. Here's to a strong finale this December and I think they'll get it. I'm guessing anywhere from 11 to 15 million for its finale.

Hope DEK can give us a big series finale, the show deserves it.

LOL robert. They're not terrible but they're below average, something we keep seeing week after week from the daily Nielsens on tons of shows.

Agreed. Boston Legal was great last night. It is much more male-skewing so facing baseball and MNF, I'd expect a dip. It gains a million-plus viewers with DVR usage factored in, primarily because men watch sports live and DVR dramas. It's only down a million viewers from last week with stiffer competition and nearly 10 million fewer viewers as a lead-in. ABC will be hard pressed to find a self-starting show like this once it's gone.

They are going to regret not giving it a full season. Most of the rest of their schedule is a mess - they need a steady ship like Boston Legal.

Honestly I think the baseball game attracted just as many viewers as / a similar demo to Prison Break... maybe even a bit more! Which still ain't sayin' much.

OK CSIM's numbers aren't terrible, but 13 million is at least disappointing. On the postive note let's not forget how badly was CSINY doing last sean and now it's doing fantastic.

I know the Worst Week fans will be saying how it got a bump up this week. The only difference is DWTS left the time slot, and nothing more. If DWTS was in the time slot it would have been no better than last week. With the 8:00 shows beating it in the demo it is terrible for CBS, whether they care to admit it or not. The show is a failure, let it go already.

Yeah but my guess is that the audiences are quite different.

That is because of no T: SCC in the time slot. It should return to its usual numbers next week.

Heroes is really pushing it. Plot is entirely driving characters' actions; I'm not surprised at the ratings drop one iota, and I'm sure One Tree Hill is benefitting as a result. Who'd have thought that Peter and Nathan wouldn't have interacted (the present versions) five episodes in, and when they finally do Peter's in a coma? He SHOT him, but there's still no fallout played on screen. What was the bloody point of having Peter do something so incredibly stupid when he just could have time transported back a half hour before the press conference? Okay, so he's a villain now. I still need fallout. Stupid Hero and Ando get plenty of screen time as well as stupid Clare.

Angela, Nathan, Tracy, Parkman, Sylar, Noah, Peter, (if he quits being stupid) and Elle are all this show needs. Everyone else can rotate out or leave. Mohinder needs to be gone in the worst way. Talk about total ruination by stupidity. The cast is too damned large. The writers can't do the characters justice.

SW will get some more mileage out of its timeslot, but its lifespan, like most other of last season's freshman, is strike-shorted (in fact, I think only BBT has emerged relatively unscathed).

My Own Worst Enemy - Haven't watched yet, but I'm not surprised by the numbers. People looking at post-Heroes retention... stop. Heroes ain't a megahit any more.

Gossip Girl - one of the best episodes yet!

BBT is actually putting up better numbers in the lower rated 8:00 time slot than it put up in its 8:30 time slot this time last year.

Capping off Monday was CW duo Gossip Girl (Viewers: #5, 3.34 million; A18-49: #5, 1.6/ 4) and One Tree Hill (Viewers: #5, 3.43 million; A18-49: #5, 1.7/ 4), which built from the year-ago rotation of Everybody Hates Chris, Aliens in America, Girlfriends and The Game by an average of 212,000 viewers and 70 percent among adults 18-49.

Marc, I think your year to year numbers are a bit off. I think you will find that the CW built by close to 1 million viewers from last year.

Good job by the CW. I bet they are hoping Privledged will mirror how Gossip Girl turned out and Tuesday will mirror the success Monday is having. Add in a solid Thursday, and the CW is not far away from being turning in from a dog to a small hit.

Chuck. Love watching it. I think that is a small uptick from last week. If it settles into the same pattern it did last year, it will slowly increase over the season. Hopefully it does. I would like to see it hang around.

CW small hit? You must be kidding me. A small hit with 2 million viewers? WTF?
