Bionic Woman was the 3rd highest rated program in Timeshifting, so timeshifting won't keep a program on the air.
CW had three of the Top10 programs for product placement. None of the Top10 in product placements were scripted programs - hint at the future of television?

Well, I admit you might be correct about the lack manipulation as it relates to the number of Survivors in the final. However, I do think when a particular challenge is used, at which point to merge tribes, or to have tribal switch could be events that are left a bit in flux as the game begin. I remember an article where Jeff made a reference to having everything that happens on the show diagramed as a flow chart. In that respect, not all flow charts move in a direct vertical line from beginning to end.
Look, I am not Stacey from Borneo. I'm not suggesting that the game is fixed from the beginning for Mark Burnett's favorites to win. All I am saying is that we have seen too many occasions where the merge, tribal switch, or non-athletic challenge comes at the exact perfect time to keep the game competitive throughout.
Hey, Survivor still entertains me after all this time. I hope they keep doing whatever they are doing in keeping the show going.
I would say Supernatural is a shoo-in for next year. It will be interesting to see if the CW finally makes it stand on its own on another night (this of course assuming Smallville gets renewed- if not it may end up with Reaper as a pairing).

Well, after about 10 years of it on the Major Nets, I don't see it going away anytime soon. I am sure it will have a down turn, much like what sitcoms are right now, but I don't see it now. Especially with the writers strike on and "Reality" is the only fresh programming option available.

"Reality" TV will not go away completely, but I think with the strike, people will get tired of the glut of "reality" shows.

I'm with you Holly. Reality's big players won't miss a beat but the trash the networks throw out will likely fail and fail badly. That said, I have little hope for the likes of Baby Borrowers, Crowned, and the slew of stuff that wasn't put on the initial strike lineup.
