I am in the opinion that WAT should of been canceled. A show by Bruckheimer that skews old and has a high pricetag, ya it deserved it.
The Good Wife is not only a CBS production but has a far smaller pricetag on it...CBS made the right decision in axing the 6 year old show

It's also an all CBS produced show vs. one that's shared with Warner Bros.
My view is that WAT survived for as long as it did, because CBS was making enough money off of it to continue when it was averaging 4.0+ in the demo.
But last season, it averaged less than a 3.0 in the demo making it not financially viable for CBS to continue paying for such an expensive show (and it was expensive).

Overall ABC should be doing much better at 10 PM. I agree that Eastwick is probably the next one cancelled on ABC, but The Forgotten isn't far behind it, in my opinion. There's only so long before ABC is going to have to be aggressive in the 10 PM timeslots. Plus, Lost, Happy Town, and The Deep End has to go somewhere and all three are looking like 10 PM contenders.
I'm hoping they put Lost on Wed at 8 - back in its original home to finish its run. What time is the Idol results show airing this spring? If not at 8 this could be a good move for ABC.
I am glad melrsoe Place got 5 more episodes. The show has gotten much better. Plus Ashlee Simpson really creeps me out. Vampire Diaries is a show that I am addicted to.
I hope ABC gives The Forgotten at extra few episode order. I mean its staying around the same amount of viewers and Its a preety good show. Last nights episode was the best so far of the season IMO.
Shark Tank - 5.917 million viewers - 3.7/6 HH - 1.8/5 A18-49
I hope ABC gives Shark Tank another chance.
Press Release About Shark Tank: On its first-season finale in the 8 o’clock hour against stiff original competition (CBS’ “NCIS,” NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” and Fox’s “AL MLB Playoff Game”), ABC’s “Shark Tank” jumped week to week by 1.0 million viewers and by 19% in Adults 18-49, hittingseries-highs on both Nielsen measures. In fact, “Shark Tank” saw its Total Viewer count grow for the 5th consecutive telecast. In Total Viewers (6.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.9/5), “Shark Tank” posted ABC’s top series numbers in the time period in more than 9 months – since 1/6/09.

WAT would have still been a better Sunday 9pm show than THREE RIVERS - or even better FRIDAY than numbers.
Honestly with a 3.0 in demo, ABC or NBC should've picked it up and been in the BRUCKHEIMER business. Imagine ABC with that coming out of DANCING - perfect lead in.

I agree! Melrose Place has gotten good! I'm enjoying the characters and the storylines and the writing is good! Vampire Diaries I LOVE! This last episode was cramazing! I'll miss it this week more than Supernatural.
The Eye had one hell of a Tuesday with their blockbuster NCIS as strong as ever in its seventh season of action. The JAG spin-off continues to amaze me how it grows each and every season and now its the #1 show on all of television right now. It has the best replay value of the dramas right now. The demo has reached a 5 which is even great since The Eye focuses more on the 25-54 demo.
Its spin-off NCIS: LA is holding on and not taking The Unit route right now. NCIS: LA is getting overshadowed by its big brother right now but its still a beast and the number one new show of the season. NCIS: LA is a little better than NCIS and I like how character in-sync it is as LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell make one hell of a tag team. NCIS: LA has a chance to grow once its fan base gets off the ground.
The Good Wife is another story, its starting to get Without a Trace comparisons which is not a good thing considering Without a Trace was on its last legs last year. The Good Wife has done better than expectations had it at. I'm a little worried about its demo for a new show but since its on The Eye its viewers will be enough to get it a full season pickup.
FOX had the Yanks and Halos and those numbers are a little bad compared to the great afternoon game the night before. I think this is a clear sign that the league needs to start getting all of its teams more recognition like the other sports so the sport has healthier numbers during the Championship rounds.
NBC Tuesday is Jillian Michaels night so this means a rare good night for NBC.
ABC Tuesday is a mess. I really think Hank and another comedy should get a plug there at 8pm and move V to Wednesday with Lost. The Forgotten is still a show that you should hold onto. Its not as strong as Castle b/c of the fanbase but if given a chance The Forgotten could do better numbers. Look fact is if it was on CBS then it would be getting 12-14 million viewers and we all know it. CBS owns the procedural audiences right now.
The CW has a gem in 90210, that show is high quality right now and has developed into its own identity away from the original. 90210 needs a boost b/c its numbers are capable of being where Vampire Diaries are at. Melrose Place is a hot mess and Dawn needs to be fired!
Oh, I totally forgot neither Supernatural nor The Vampire Diaries are new this week. I'm going to go into withdrawal.
In other news, I'm curious as to what it would take for Heather Locklear to "save" Melrose? Does she have to match Vampire Diaries or just get the show over 2 in the 18-34W demo?

I know right lol. Last weeks episode was the best of the season. I am pissed that Vicki is a vampire. She has been through so much Bloodsucking and almost dies like twice to just become a vamp. Thats gets me angry. My fave character is that black witch girl. Shes so cool.
