And Without a Trace was getting those ratings opposite SVU last year. The 10PM competition for TGW is actually pretty soft. So, whiles certainly not a bad performance, I'm just not sure it's a "winning performance."

NCIS: LA is still having retention issues keeping the NCIS audience around. However, the bigger problem might be The Good Wife. At first glance, those ratings are good. However, considering that they are just as old skewing as Without A Trace that was cancelled last year for being too old skewing, it should be a cause of concern for CBS. It's also losing a good portion of the demos from NCIS: LA.

CBS dominated this fifth Tuesday of the current season, with a first-place finish in both total viewers and adults 18-49 care of its combination of blockbuster NCIS (Viewers: #1, 20.60 million; A18-49: #1, 4.7 rating/13 share), spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles (Viewers: #1, 16.51 million; A18-49: #2, 3.9/10) and The Good Wife (Viewers: #1, 12.89 million; A18-49: #2, 2.8/ 7). Comparably, that built from the year-ago combination of NCIS, The Mentalist and Without a Trace by an average of 1.96 million viewers and 19 percent in the demo.
Marc, given that DWTS runs over each week, does it make sense to report this in these preliminaries? The first half is clearly impacted by the runover. Would you happen to have last weeks 'The Forgotten's' half hour results from the finals? Do they show the same decline?

Equally disappointing was a loss of 1.80 million viewers (8.52 to 6.72 million) and 23 percent among adults 18-49 (2.2/ 6 to 1.7/ 5) at 10:30 p.m.
How long did DWTS run over for? I think it was just two minutes, but I should mention the results for The Forgotten are estimated.

The Forgotten's total viewership is actually up from last week (based on the fast nationals)... although DWTS did much better this week as well.
Demo is the same... although retention is poorer because DWTS is up this week.
Still... ABC could be doing much worse, and I bet they're patient with this show. In prior years they had serialized shows at 10pm (Eli Stone, October Road, What about Brian? Six Degrees) that were not getting much better than this... were declining... and were repeating horribly.
The Forgotten gives them some skin in the procedural game (as does Castle)... and just the fact that it should repeat better than its serialized shows may allow it to stick around longer...
That can be said for for ABC at 10pm on just about every other night except Thursdays.
Eastwick is still my bet for the NEXT Cancelled series by the 5 networks.

I don't hate the show, but there is certainly nothing special about it.
ABC steers Judy Greer laffer %alternatename_2b; By MICHAEL SCHNEIDER Greer
'I'm With Stupid'
%primarycredit ABC is reuniting with Judy Greer ("Miss Guided"), who has signed on to star in a sitcom project based on the book "I'm With Stupid." "Stupid" has a script order at ABC. If it moves forward, Greer would star as Kas Sienkiewicz, a Manhattanite who has a fling with a park ranger while on safari in South Africa. She returns home -- and the ranger tracks her down in New York.
Elaine Szewczyk, who wrote the novel, is also on board the laffer as a writer and co-exec producer; Allan Loeb, Steven Pearl and Richard Lewis will serve as non-writing exec producers. ABC Studios will produce.
Project wound up at the Alphabet net after a bidding competish among several webs. Besides starring in "Miss Guided" for ABC, the actress lends her voice to Nick at Nite's "Glenn Martin, DDS" and to FX's upcoming "Archer."
In features, Greer's credits include Ed Zwick's "Love and Other Drugs," opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, and helmer Tom Dey's "Marmaduke."
Meanwhile, ABC has also given a script-plus-penalty order to "We Are Here," a comedy from scribe Hilary Winston ("My Name Is Earl"), who will exec produce with Anthony and Joe Russo.
Project centers on four friends from the U. of Texas, all of whom still live in Austin, but deal with the arrival of adulthood in different ways.
Winston's credits include "Community." Sony Pictures TV is behind the project.
Overall ABC should be doing much better at 10 PM. I agree that Eastwick is probably the next one cancelled on ABC, but The Forgotten isn't far behind it, in my opinion. There's only so long before ABC is going to have to be aggressive in the 10 PM timeslots. Plus, Lost, Happy Town, and The Deep End has to go somewhere and all three are looking like 10 PM contenders.

NCIS:LA is way higher than it was last week in viewers and the demo! The Good Wife is also up a tick. Hopefully CBS goes up a good amount in the finals
