If I get a second later I will post some of the quotes from some TV net big shots regarding the strike.... there seems to be this.. thank goodness a strike is going to happen mentality because this fall is a mess and they see the strike as a chance to start fresh next year... I'd expect very little to be canceled unless it's just killing a time slot like Nashville or Viva...

This is why I see Tuesdays as a more likely option. I guess they could put it on Sundays, but that would be a stupid move.
You really think they will run out the episodes of Kid Nation? Have you seen how low the ratings have gone?

Plus I dont think CBS is about to give up on Cane just yet... and Kid Nation isn't going anywhere until the show runs its episodes...

I think what they should do is put Jericho on Tuesdays at 9, followed by Unit at 10. This would give it a very good lead in (NCIS) with a compatible audience.
I am sure they will put Power of 10 on either Sunday or Wednesday at 8 very soon. With the other time slot getting a crime repeat.

I wouldn't mind seeing it back to its 8PM slot where I believe it did better out of 60 MINUTES.
Those numbers for The CW are actually good – compared to what they had been. “CW Now” increased by 229,000 viewers; “Life is Wild” added 550,000 as Marc pointed out; and that encore of “Aliens in America” actually more than doubled the audience for the final episode of “Online Nation” last week (1.28 million vs. 593,000). That 1.28 million is roughly half of the viewers “Aliens” draws on Mondays. Only the “Next Top Model” encore was down – by only 70,000. Personally, I would dump “Now” and add an encore of “Everybody Hates Chris” at 7:00 p.m.
Those numbers for “Viva Laughlin” are very disappointing. CBS’s patience will surely be tested with the series. Upon seeing those numbers, and the possibility of it damaging both “Cold Case” and “Shark”, I would not be surprised if we have already seen the last of “Laughlin”. Perhaps the series would have been better received if it didn’t have the gimmicky musical aspect to it and instead was presented as a straight forward drama.
“Desperate Housewives” had one of its best episodes of the season last night. I didn’t have to fast forward thru any of it. It was a pleasant return to the storytelling of the first season after its infamous sophomore slump and slow recovery last year. Teri Hatcher proved that her character doesn’t always have to be falling down in order to be comedic, during her interaction with the new neighbors. If “Housewives” does pull in more viewers than “Grey’s Anatomy”, it is much deserved.
Come on now Vlis. Cold Case has been very consistent until this week when it obviously dropped because of that weak lead in Viva Laughlin. Plus being up against the baseball, as well as the football, probably did not help.

Even if they don't cancel shows like Cane, they might well yank them for November sweeps.

How many Hallmark movies does CBS have on tap for November-December? I think there were several last year. Cold Case could run an hour earlier on those Sundays, and crime reruns could fill the 8 pm hour on other Sundays.
isnt it wierd that all of the big threes on abc(lost,GA,DH) have fallen creatively at some point, but all have rebounded this year, lost season 3 was much better than season 2, the the season 3 finale was the best season finale ever(IMHO), GA has been awesome season 4, especially after the dismal season 3, each episode has been better than the one before, it has that right mix of drama and humor that made season 1 and 2 so great, same goes with DH, season 2 was not very good, season 3 was better but many aspects were still wrong like the mystery, but this season has all the aspects that made season 1 so amazing

Way to spin the number vlis.
Although I hate Cold Case, it was at a season high last week. Last night was all because of VL.
Cold Case and Shark both need and Astrisk next to them for last nights numbers.
