With Game 6 of the American League Championship Series rained-out, abnd ABC's regiona college football games not bgetting a viewership bump, it looks to me that last night's big winner may have been local telecasts of NHL hockey games in those major markets that have teams.

According to the ESPN website, ABC was offering coverage of either the Texas/Missouri or the USC/Oregon State game.
Most of the country (everything except the West Coast) was supposed to get the Texas/Missouri match-up, but the network appears to have switched to the USC/Oregon State game half-way through the third quarter of the Texas/Missouri game.

SHocked at PA's success. A movie about nothing. Bored me to death.
Anyone find it interesting that the movie was made two years ago for $15,000, but did not seem to gain any interest or following until Steven Spielberg got involved with it? Could it be that the movie only did this well because it had Spielberg's name attached to it? From what I have seen, it does not look very interesting or convincing at all.

Texas/Missouri, which was a blow out by half time. ABC switched to the USC/Oregon game around 10pm.
We have seen this type of success story for decades. A project that is mostly rejected by the industry except for one believer and it becomes a hit.
This movie got to see the light of day because of Spielberg, but the success is all on the original filmmakers.
