Well, all this talk about the FOX shows, but how about CBS ? CBS basically won the night with repeats. Hopefully, this means people will be showing up for the premiere of the sitcoms next week in big numbers.

tvbythenumbers has the 3.73 number as well.
And for Fox midseason, I was mostly referring to 24 and Idol filling up 3 more hours. There just aren't that many spots and I would guess they'll cycle through a bunch of new shows before they'd resort to one of these again.
tvbythenumbers copies the ratings from here. So I am sure they simply got the number from here.
With everyone beating on these FOX shows I will offer one bit of hope. The MNF game last night was a great and close game between the ratings monster Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. I am sure they got a huge rating for this game. I bet these FOX shows will be two of the highest rated DVR shows for the week.
All right, Marc, explain what "disappointing" means, because I don't think you really understand. The SCC and PB numbers aren't "disappointing".. they're absolutely HORRIFYING. They qualify as losers without a single doubt. Heck, even Batman Begins (a repeat theatrical!) is labeled as a loser and it GOT THE SAME RATINGS.
That being said, these will be the last seasons for both shows. I think (and hope) that FOX will let PB run through this final season, no surprise cancellations. If the ratings really crash and burn, I still think they'd let it go for 13 episodes, so that a real ending could be made for the show.
And as for TSCC, I think the only thing keeping it walking is it's franchise status and whatever deal FOX made with WB.. like pish said, it's dead show walking. And it won't walk a single step further than 13 episodes.
Nobody should take any glee in the dissapoiting number for SCC or PB.
Two more failures of the "serialized drama" genere will only help usher in more sophomoric sex coms, gameshows and their remakes or more reality or crime drama...and lets face it don't we already have plenty of those on the air as it is?

Nuts. I'm taking glee in the market failure, and that may actually hurt me. Incompetence and greed should not be rewarded, in any sphere of human activity.

Yes, and we have plenty of bad genre dramas as well, and many more coming. Why do we have to watch bad television to prevent the rise of worse television?
I don't like scripted shows BECAUSE they're scripted. I only like scripted shows when they actually have good scripts--and a reason for existing. Which SCC never had. And frankly, PB should have been a limited-run series to begin with.
Last night's GG was maybe the best episode of the series so far, so i'm glad it did well. Now I just hope Supernatural's return does at least 3 million and i'll be happy. I'm exited for Robert Wisdom joining the series. He was great in Prison Break and in The Wire.
