Vampire Diaries was awesome last night. They took the lead actor out of the wimp mode and the show became so much more awesome. CW has finally managed to make a good show!
And the CW project sounds exactly like a rehash of Grey's Anatomy. They didn't even have to put it in the article to pull that similarity.
I actually liked S1 of Greys it wasn't until the story became an angst fest of McDrippy/Mere crap that I tuned out.
I actually like the sound of the shows that The CW is developing, sounds to me like they're going back to The WB formula of genre and family drama shows and getting away from the glitzy rich b!tch girl shows.
On the subject of Criminal Minds, which I love. I don't think I'd watch a CM spin-off anymore than I currently watch the CSI spin-offs. What works for me on CM and CSI:LV are the characters as much as the "crime".

I agree, the characters is what keeps me watching CM, not the crime of the week althought I like that they get into the criminal minds to try to understand what they do and stop them in the end what keeps me watching week after week are the characters.
I will give a look at the spin off but I do not like the idea of a second BAU, there is suppose to be just one BAU and now we will have what The BAU: Texas?

From what I understand is they will be introducing the spin-off later on during this season of CM. (Kind of like they did with NCIS: Los Angeles).

Yes they will, episode 19, it is being written by Chris Mundy, casting is being done at the moment.

That would be my first guess for dramas. But, I'm really leaning towards Survivor now. 20th season, All-Stars edition, and declining ratings - the Superbowl could be the thing to jumpstart the franchise once again. And, with the All-Stars edition, airing the premiere after the Superbowl could get old and new viewers to stick around. It worked before, so it'll probably work again.
Only if it has Russel from this season and Coach from last season!
I'd be shocked and disappointed if Coach wasn't a part of the Villain's team. He was by far one of my favorite players from the last few seasons.
