I missed The Office again this weekend. Need to catch up.

To me, it's the difference between a great Office ep and an unwatchable one.
Fringe was absolutely atrocious last night. I understand having monster of the week episodes but this was as lame & generic as they get. There was nothing cool/scary about this monster. Compared to the monsters they did in season 1 like the hedgehog man and the thing that wrapped itself around your heart this was completely uncreative The Descent ripoff.
FlashForward has a great premise but seems to lack flair. I think that will improve as more episodes air.
See? Apparently Fringe is no great shakes. Some worried that it was propped up by House as a lead in. Perhaps that's so.
Wenart, I'm sorry you don't enjoy SPN anymore, but that's cool. Different strokes. I've got to respectfully disagree that there's no fallout. In terms of what's happened to Sam and Dean, the fallout is huge and apparently distressing to some. Some of the moments between the characters this season have been brutal, and what happened to Bobby is certainly fallout of a permanent nature. I didn't think they'd go there, but they did.
Season four of SPN made quite an impression. It seems to have polarized many. Me, I'm in the "I love it" camp with curious. The DVD sales skyrocketed. That's got to mean something. Some fans move on, other fans move in.
Galveston, it's cool. I just find the show to be a little boring and dual now. But like you said, different strokes for different folks. I hope you continue to enjoy the show.

Thanx.
Links quoting the exact amount of $$$? Sorry, no. Though the fact stands that the show was sold to nearly 70 countries and it didn't reach syndication yet. I think you can google their list.
Does WB swim in cash because of that? Of course not. Is it worth to keep it going to the CW? Who knows. Is it worth for the WB to push it? Well, SPN's S4 sold more DVD units in a week than GoGi, OTH or even Smallville - see the lists on the-numbers.com.

They promote this show more than any new or returning show. However, I do agree that it was the GA premiere that killed it. I think it goes back up next week when it is against PP.
It was a total bust, yet you admit it had very strong competition from Grey's AND you expect the numbers to go up next week!
If you would read I said it was a total bust last night. I fully expect it to do well next week. How could it not with all that CBS promotes it. Turn on CBS, hardly a half hour goes by without a Mentalist promo.
Also, anybody who thinks The Mentalist is not going to be the post Super Bowl show has no clue how CBS cherishes and adores this show.
For who does not know how CBS has this adoring love for The Mentalist, look at their spin press release today. They actually made like The Mentalist had a great night, while downplaying Survivor and CSI. See here :

Hmm, I googled it but couldn't find any info concerning Supernatural overseas sales. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot.
Supernatural has only had $11,212,879 in DVD sales and is dropping faster then its ratings this year. It dropped 76.7% in its second week, so lets not make a mountain out of a mole hill.
Since you are the one proclaiming Supernatural having "supernatural" overseas might, you should be able to back up your statements with some proof. I don't think that is such a outlandish request.
I read some articles mentioning Supernatural is bigger than Grey's Anatomy in Europe and that it's huge in Oriental countries. Money is money. WB certainly gets a lot from merchandise, from official magazines and comic books to DVD sales. SPN season 4 has sold more than Fringe season 1.

Supernatural fans always speak of the mythical money making prowess of their show, yet never have an facts to back this up. Show me article, link, bank statement or just anything concrete that backs up these claims.

I don't bookmark everything I read you know How am I supposed to find articles read months or even years ago? Here is the one saying SPN has sold more than Fringe so far, it's the only I can find since I read it just the other day. On Wikipedia you can see the countries in which SPN airs, why would we make that up?
Please don't generalize 'Supernatural fans'. Not all of them are rabbid idiots, but I guess the internet would give you that impression.
