You are probably correct. However, if ABC is limited to Supernanny/Supermanny/Wife Swap/20/20/and possibly the new Shark Tank pilot their ordered, it probably will be a struggle for them to break a 2.0 demo.

I felt the exact opposite was true. He was very believable as an ego driven writer while she was not very believable as a police detective. How many of these bird-sized, frail women need to be cast into police shows, anyway? 110Lb women do not kick down doors except on TV. The fact that we have seen Cold Case or Burn Notice with the same charcter already does not make it any more beleivable.

Bruce,
I do think CBS may have something with ELEVENTH HOUR on Friday. It did start out rather slowly as the storylines were a little too dark and moved at a snail's pace and Marley appeared to be a total miscast in her role. However, over the past few weeks since they've added Omar Benson Miller to the cast, the show is vastly improved. Rufus, Marley, and he have a very good chemistry together; with Omar's comedic talents, the overall tone is much lighter; and the pacing of the storylines have gotten better. If they were to delve a little more into the personal lives of the characters, I can easily see it being a good compliment with GW.
Also, with there only being three cast members, they should be able to produce the show with a relatively low price tag. CBS should give it a shot. They could always have Flashpoint waiting in the wings if necessary.
CBS is at the point where they don't seem to need to work with 11th Hour, however I think they owe it to themselves to schedule an episode behind the Mentalist. I think it might actually draw in more of that audience than WAT. Give WAT a real reason to sweat. At this point I'd say it will return but who knows what Les has up his sleeve. The man apparently loves howling fans and therefore makes it his job each spring to cancel a show that's aged but still has juice left. I'm not loving the sounds of anything CBS has in the tank for next year either in terms of new shows. They just as well try it. They have nothing to lose.

I'm with Obveeus. Fillion is playing his role well imo but that female character was way weak from what I watched. Either way, I'm not watching again. This is not the type of cop show I want to be watching. I'm holding out for the Unusuals, which sounds very interesting and will likely watch Southland over on NBC.

I find Fillion somewhat annoying. Note I used the phrase "relatively solid" for the cop, far from a ringing endorsement with the way I use words. Overall, it was not credible as a cop show based on this ep.

FOX is well not doing well but I think Dollhouse is a keeper. As long as FOX wants to keep it they can. Dollhouse has stabilized but needs a bigger lead-in. T:SCC is a guilty pleasure but it should be gone by season's end. T:SCC has a lot of good talent that can be used on other shows.
I agree Dollhouse is definetely a keeper and should be put after Bones or Idol to get a boost. It deserves it after growing its viewership omn a friday from a show that only gets 3.5 mill
