7 million on a fox show for mondays is a flop? perhaps you have forgotten how fox used to do on mondays pre-prison break/24.

it will go down further. and we're talking about a show that had a 30 million lead-in for the first 2 episodes. Yeah it's a flop

And now it has a lead in that's a minute fraction of that. Its growing out of its lead in too. I'd say its not a flop but perhaps disappointing.

Considering that everyone here expected it to flop, and even FOX delayed its premiere because they weren't entirely enthused about it, I'm not sure disappointing is right either.

I think it's been disappointing to some people here that it didn't do even worse.

FOX should air House repeats instead of CL and see if it helps NA.

Riff, please, tell us what you really are thinking. I miss your one liners around here.

I agree...the contestants are really dull.

You would know all about that wouldn't you? Pushing Daisies? SCC? Drive? Need I say more?

Only if you are completely lacking a sense of irony, or of humor. Which I gather is the case. So go on.

If Fox were smart, they'd ship those House repeats to Mondays at 8 for now and air CL after Bones on Fridays.

I agree with this...

Marc, I don't watch Medium. However, building on its DOND lead-in and beating The Bachelor, which had the benefit of DWTS as a lead-in and a 28 minute head-start deserves being on the winner list in my book.
Medium is still struggling to contend with CSI:Miami reruns.

I wouldn't call beating it in both the households and demo "struggling". Yes, it has struggled up to now, but give them some credit when they do beat it. When CSI:Miami returns with new eps, if they're still beating them, then you can call them a loser. But give them a little credit.

why would medium be a winner??? it loses to csi:miami repeats (ratings) and barely (if that) beats it in the demos...how is that a winner????

a 3.2 demo is not that great...it is nowhere near winner status.

With those examples you've just proved the point, BBT is the funniest sitcom in years but that doesn't say much cause the sitcoms have horrible for the past 3-4 years. In fact i think BBT is rather dull

Marc,

With all the dancing shows that have been poping up and on the air for the last 18 straight months, how much longer do you see DWtS lasting?

All you naysayers -- from tv guide...

But the nerves aren't just about the dancing. "Let's talk about the elephant in the room," says Harris. "Tuesday night, we're going up against American Idol. It's the first time in our six seasons that that's happened. And they're filming right across the hall. And a lot of people are nervous about that. But our producers and the network and I, personally, am very excited to take them on because I think this show has a different appeal. If any show can take on Idol, it's Dancing with the Stars." — Deborah Starr Seibel

And, let me guess, NA is very cheap to make? Roll Eyes

FOX must be positively thrilled by this 2.3 in the demo.

Both shows that did much better than NA, and will return next year. To no one's surprise, except pisher.
