What follows are the fast affiliate results for Friday, Feb. 13 overall by network and by each half hour (in the order of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and the CW):
-Noticeable Growth from Lead-in (But Still Not Impressive): Dollhouse (Fox)
-Friday’s Losers: Howie Do It (NBC), Wife Swap (ABC), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Fox); Everybody Hates Chris (CW), The Game (CW), Friday Night Lights (NBC), 13 – Fear is Real (CW), Dateline (NBC)
I did not do an analysis because there is no PI on Monday. But here is the bottom line on the debut of Fox's Dollhouse:
1. It averaged 4.72 million viewers (#3 behind CBS' Flashpoint and ABC's Supernanny) from 9-10 p.m., with a second-place finish among adults 18-49 (2.0/ 6).
2. The positive news was growth out of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles of 1.01 million viewers and 43 percent among adults 18-49.
3. Given the hype, however, this was still nothing to boast about.
Starting to look like Flashpoint is not a good fit for the Ghost Whisperer crowd but its growth at 9:30 proves it has its own audience. Numb3rs actually lost viewers at 10:30. Its on its last legs if you ask me. Maybe one more year depending on CBS's development plans.
Fox's duo flopped like expected. Terminator, which I rarely saw an ad for, was DOA. Dollhouse, as expected did a little flexing in the demo at 9pm and did finish second, but still not going to be good enough I'm afraid. We'll see what next week brings.
ABC had one helluvah night! Wife Swap right at season's average, Supernanny really flexed at 9pm. I knew losing 5th Grader and Lyrics would help those two. 20/20 must've had a big interview at 10pm. Great numbers for that.
So much for Howie Do It and Friday Night Lights. NBC just as well ship Life back to Fridays for burn off and move Dateline (which I think would be good counter programming) to Wednesdays at 9.
Dollhouse did beat Flashpoint though. Still, I'm sure its too expensive to survive on a 2.0 demo, if it holds. My guess is Dollhouse is in 3rd next week.

Woah there! That statement isn't even close to correct. ABC had its best Friday all year, CBS was close to current levels (at least GW was) and Fox had a stronger demo Friday than most. Jason did nothing. I'm expecting low box office returns for what looked like a joke.

FOX well not sure about them right now. If they can get these numbers every week then that'll be decent, but not nearly as well as the game shows did.
I agree about Flashpoint, mushu. If I were CBS, I would consider moving Cold Case into this time period next season.

You're reading my mind Marc! Cold Case to me would be the perfect transition from GW to Numb3rs. Flashpoint could return as a midseason option again since its a cheap import.

Terminator is DOA, but I think we still need to wait and see on Dollhouse. Getting a 2.0 in the demo, on a Big Date night & Valentines Weekend, is decent with room to grow. Lets see how it does next weekend.

Didn't watch Dollhouse. Don't plan to watch Dollhouse. Have no idea what it is. But, in the current tv landscape a 2.0 demo on Friday is a success. And, when a network decides to bury a new show on Friday after another show it has washed its hands of, I would not call that hype.

I see some on this board try to spin Dollhouses's number. Well nice try. Dollhouse bombed even worse than i expected. And SCC did horribly also. Everyone knows FOX dumped these shows on fridays beacause they're gonna get canceled The last PB episodes will get horrible numbers as well
