Is it just me or is anybody else annoyed with the current story-arc on House? I think it's taking the show too far afield of what we show up for.
I don't watch House to see people I just outright *hate,* and that's what they're giving us...week in and week out. Enough with this cop-guy, already, please!

No! No! No!
COLD CASE is the best drama on CBS..so much better than the tired CSI format!
I wouldn't want it killed in the Tuesday at 10pm "death slot".

I don't know about inching towards a fourth season renewal, though. I honestly would prefer to be pleasantly surprised that disappointed on the more likely chance it isn't back next year. And. for whatever reason CW is airing a new Gilmore Girls next week and repeating the VM season premiere... that's gonna kill any momentum.
Any word what CW is doing with the post-Beauty and the Geek slot in January and February? If it's airing eight episodes... maybe Hidden Palms?
Well, Beauty and the Geek is supposed to have an 8-week-run...and The CW ordered 8 episodes of Hidden Palms...I bet they will air HP out of it.
As for Veronica Mars: Actually, I don't think that the promos had much to do with the ratings. But the episode began with a pretty shocking scene...so the viewers got hooked...which makes me think that Rob Thomas had better include such scenes more often in the beginning of the episodes.

It's Vogler all over again. That, combined with the fact that the stuff House gets away with has gotten to the point of completely ridiculous, is why I haven't been watching very regularly this season.

I think this story arc has been great. The actor who plays the cop (David Morse?) is excellent. The Cops obssession with getting Dr. House is a perfect counter to Dr. Houses's obsession with himself. I think Dr. House needs a force from outside the hospital as a nemmisess, because none of those inside have the ego to be a worthy foe.
To each his own I guess, but showing DR. house failing and near the edge of collapse (and sometimes down right mean)is what has made this show truely enjoyable.

i like the idea of moving the unit (it would finally kill bl) but i dont like the idea of 3 dramas on one night...at least not the same type of drama's...

cold case would not be killed on tuesdays...but why would cbs move a solid show (opposite dh no less) leaving an ugly hole on sundays...?
im really looking forward to see CC's repeat numbers opposite dh...

honestly i thought king of queens would work there...or honestly jericho could go there and become a bit darker.....it would fit perfectly with ncis and the unit...

I want to jump on the bandwagon of people that think ABC shouldn't have cancelled Commander In Chief. I don't know about anyone else, but I see another Dancing With the Stars this spring. I'm very happy to see the ratings for Veronica Mars. Very deserving.
Aside from Nip/Tuck on FX, there is nothing on Tuesday that remotely interests me - which is a good thing given the rest of my week's viewing schedule! That said, I was compelled to watch the second part of the "Boston Legal" two-parter that began Sunday after DH. While I love "Brothers & Sisters" and missed it being on, the one-off airing of BL in that timeslot exposed me to what seems like another fun show that I previously had never seen. Good work, ABC... Now give me back my B&S!
Marc: How's Nip/Tuck doing? Any good buzz for the new Courteney Cox show "Dirt"?
You know what, Cory. I have heard nothing re: ratings for Nip/Tuck, so I'm not sure. But silence from the PR front is rarely a good thing. And I have heard nothing about Dirt, but I'm looking forward to seeing it.
COme on now, Pisher. Let's give VM a well deserved "thumbs up" this week.

If it can manage this week after week (once it returns from hiatus), THEN CW might want to consider another season.
And Kristen Bell would have to wonder if she really wants to keep starring in this permanently low-rated show indefinitely.
