I agree, MacAtk. The first couple of episodes of Medium have been fantastic. And I think the numbers so far have been really great, particularly since the show was barely pulling in 7 million last season against Lost. I know it's not the same kind of numbers that it was pulling in the first two seasons, but NBC has no one but themselves to blame for that. If they hadn't jerked the show around the schedule last season, a lot of viewers wouldn't have gotten disgusted with trying to keep up with when it was on and quit watching. I was really concerned about the decision to out Allison last season, but it really seems to have invigorated the writers and given them a fresh perspective on the show, and it's really been great so far. I have been really impressed with what they've done with the story thus far this season, and the addition of Anjelica Huston has really been a boon for the show.( I can only imagine what a thrill it must be for the cast to get to work with her.) But I'm a little concerned about what NBC's plans are for the show. I read that Ben Silverman plans to expand Deal or No Deal and American Gladiators to 90 minutes each and move Medium AGAIN!! Is this guy an idiot or what? He can't seriously think that people will watch a night of all reality programming, can he? I know that DoND and AG pull in big numbers, but I, for one, would prefer to have a little bit of scripted television in my nightly viewing. If this is the direction this guy is taking the network (which is what I've been expecting), then I can see the network going down the drain faster than you can say "The Biggest Loser". (Which is what NBC is bound to be if this guy keeps going this way)
