Wow, perhaps I'm wrong about K-Ville?! I'm still guessing it gets crushed next week. As for Prison Break, I could feel that coming. This show sunk through last year. Perhaps Fox should encore the premiere this Friday in place of Nashville? As for the rest, DOND is sinking, but holding to older folks. The Singing Bee's novelty has worn off and I bet it won't come close to winning its new Tuesday 8pm timeslot. NBC screw on your head and get 1 vs. 100 back on the air and fast!

Why can't they just be regular beat cops? Why do they have to be supercops? I'm sick to death of supercops. Have any of you in your lives ever met a supercop?

I cannot say that I have. But Pisher didn't you know...Supercops are the new "IT" thing today! Wink

Peace!!

I think part of the PB drop was because the show has just gotten tired. PB could have been a limited series- a 26-ep conglomeration of Seasons one and two, and it probably would have been the better for it.

I do wonder what's gonna happen next week when everything else premieres...K-ville didn't do well with the critics.

(I hope DWTS goes thru the roof-it's my heavy hitter in my TVBigshot lineup....but stretching 6 performances in the 90-minute timeslot will be tough.)

Finally, we're rolling in the new season!

Very true Mushu. I watched the first season of PB, but stopped after that. It has lost its zeal for me. I just cannot understand why they renewed it for a third season. I mean how many times can they breakout of prison, get captured, escape again, and then get put back into prison. Talk about a real redundancy. I do not see it making a fourth season, unless FOX does not have a strong development season for 2008-2009.

Peace!

Or better yet, Prison Break should've just ended with Season 1, which was pretty cool, and avoided the convoluted on-the-run junk in Season 2. But that doesn't fit the business model, where success stories have to be stretched out, etc.

But I still maintain that what I saw last night was probably better than anything I saw in Season 2 (though I stopped watching Season 2 a third of the way through). I'm pretty sure the show is just better when there's an actual prison involved.

I think even if K-Ville follows the Vanished path week-to-week, it'll get more of a leash, since Vanished had an entire month before it was up against originals and was still pretty much dead by that point.

STANDINGS | Congrats to week 11 winner Douglas! | Winter/Spring 2010 Top 5 (thru 3/17):

followed by a repeat of Heroes at 3.95 million viewers (#3) and a 1.7/ 4 in the demo (#3) at 10 p.m.

Those may be the best numbers for a repeat of the show this summer.

How I Met Your Mother (Viewers: #3, 6.07 million; A18-49: #3, 2.1/ 6), The New Adventures of Old Christine (Viewers: #3, 6.03 million; A18-49: #4, 1.9/ 5),

More evidence on why Old Christine is on Hiatis for the fall.

A couple of factors perhaps might be..
Maybe a lot of viewers didn't know it was premiering last night since its a week earlier than most shows...even your WINNERS/LOSER column isn't appearing till next week signalling the official start of the season.

Fans...females in particular might be angry that the Sarah/Michael romance is in jeopardy if Sarah Wayne Callis isn't on this season. (I have no doubt she'll be back if there is a season 4. She'll have a year off of new mother hood and by then the story of PB may have Michael broken out by then and ready to reunite with her on the run is my guess)

Feel bad about K-VILLE as it will get nuked next week with HEROES coming back. I wish they could have found a better slot for it. It's a wonderful premise for a series.

They have already said she will be back at the beginning of this season. We will see her in a few episodes like normal.

But what level do the ratings need to be to keep it on the schedule, given the competition?

6 million viewers and a 2.5+ in the demo?

K-Ville Spoiler warning:

I love that K-Ville broke out the "evil land developer scaring people away so they can buy up all the land" plot in the first episode. Wasn't that the plot of 50% of Scooby-Doo episodes? Also, you'd think the fact that all those houses were selling would have arose suspicion earlier. The first thing I thought when I saw the first "For Sale" sign was "who's going to buy that house?"

All in all, I didn't think K-Ville was anything special. A typical cop show, with better acting. The show would be better if they expanded the cast and went for a Hill Street Blues type feel. Of course, they would have to get better writers. Maybe I should just see if Hill Street Blues is on DVD. . .

the reason PB is so low is because it is so unrealistic...i watched last night (mind you, im not a fan but my brother loves the show) so i watch...have you ever watched a show and all during it you keep saying to yourself "when is this gonna end?"

PB was awful...and kville will be crushed next week as im hearing a ton of bad reviews

as for DOND, natural progression down that started last year will continue this year.

singing bee...meh
