Although I'm sure the high paychecks for James Spader and ESPECIALLY Candice Bergen and William Shattner don't make BL a gold mine. But the show does do well among people who have high incomes - some of whom are lawyers - ago figure!!! That's something to care about, especially when new eps can still pull around 10 million.

Originally posted by Suzaku: The Pussycat Doll show was entertaining. But I felt that Sandra should have made it, since she was sick and she could sing. But then she was stupid and she soothed this girl with a stomach virus, when she knew what fully what was going on. Although it's too early to say how the show is doing, since most shos premiere big and drops as it goes. Although some Supernatural fans tune in to the Pussycat Dolls just for Sandra, since she is an actress and she's Jared's girlfriend. A lot of them watched to see how she did.
If Sandy had made it I probably would continue watch the show just because I'm sure she would eventually have to call Jared.

I'm right there with you marc. I watched thirtysomething religiously back in the day. The show was definitely different than everything else that was on during that time. I remember the uproar during the episode that had the two gay characters in bed together and they werent even doing anything, except lying next to each other without any shirts. This just goes to show how far we have come, when you see two guys passionately kissing on Bros. and Sisters and no one even makes a peep, zilch, not even in the papers. The entire cast was excellent and the writing was top notch. Melanie Mayron(Melissa) was probably my favorite of the entire ensemble just because she was a free spirit. Hey marc can you ask Ken Olin if Melanie can direct an episode of B/S since the entire cast has gone on to become writers and directors in their own right.

Hmm...I find the CW's schdeuling odd. We have several weeks of repeats of Gilmore Girls and OTH coming up, right? So, why not just play the repeats of OTH (or VM) after GG and match new ANTM with new TPD?
I will, and I'll let you know what he says. I'm still pissed, by the way, that they killed Gary off. Since the show was ending a few episodes later, why was that necessary?

Next week PCD is against Idol and has no original Gilmore Girls lead-in... I think it'll drop to the low-3 million range. Interesting the show is doing do much better than similar "R U The Girl" (TLC searching for a replacement for Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez after she died). I guess PCD's, uh, image sells.
I am not talking about last nights BL #'s, I am talking about the entire season thus far when they havent had anykind of a lead and are stil doing AROUND 10 mill. The other nets have a pulse on this night and abc doesnt with the exception being this show. That is why this show is a winner!!

with the horrible guys, AI can start to lose folks to TPD.
but next week is the Top 12... males and females performing on Tuesday (hence the two hour show). It's either 2 hours or 90 minutes the week after for the Top 11 because House doesn't have another episode until March 27th (when it'll finally be on for more than a week at a time before taking weeks off)
