Less than a three in the demos.

For a FOX show it's not that bad. The important thing is that it gets basically the same numbers week after week
I wonder if those same 7.5 million would move, with the series, to a Friday night slot?

Pair it up with Bones and FOX could, potentially, have a night winning combination.

I've been a fan of Prison Break from Day One, but I'm resolved to believing the season ender on Feb. 18 will be the Final Episode. The story has run its course and there's no where to go.

Hindsight being 20/20, I think a better set-up for this season would have had Sara sent to Prison and Micheal (still on the run) trying to break her out. The fact that the actress became pregnant between the seasons would have only ratcheted up the suspense.

Fox could send it to it's Friday Death Slot, but I think the viewers would go down to under 4 million.

you`re joking right? Prison Break ending after two episodes??? NO WAY! It`s already confirmed that the finale will end up with a huge cliffhanger to set the rest of the season. (or next season)
I think Sara`s death paced the show in some way...i mean, I got better only after her death. Last two episodes were memorable IMHO.
The ratings are stable and decent, why would Fox move it to a death slot?

I could picture it having a comfortable life on Friday, at least compared to the competition.

I don't think (anymore) Fridays is a death slot. Bones is proving that its not.

The problems with Fridays have been the shows placed there, not the night itself.

CE and PH2 posted a 0.5 rating each among adults 18-49.
Thats sounds about right for CE, but that low of a Demo rating for PH2 does surpise me. Must have been a busted season premiere for PH2

Given the huge promotional push, the opening number for Paradise Hotel 2 is a disappointment. I had my worries after NBC expanded American Gladiators and DOND into two 90-minuters split over the hour, and I think these reality powerhouses might have had the worst impact on the premiere.

Although ZAP2it still is showing MNT having skedded the season 2 preem of IFL Battleground for Saturday at 9 pm, I'm thinking they might be better off putting up an encore of Paradise Hotel 2 this Saturday.

Excellent numbers by 20/20.

To me it just proves the old adage "if a tree falls in the forest and no one's there ti hear it, does it make a sound?" A "huge promotional push" to you is a silent tree falling in the forest for me -- I have never heard of any of these MyNetTV shows outside this forum, and have never seen a single ad about them...

If T:SCC holds at 9 million viewers for the rest of its run, Would you scale PB down to just 13 hours as a Fall only series?

I'd dump both, but particularly the overpriced SCC (which won't hold at 9mil viewers, anyway--it's already BELOW 9mil, and how many of those viewers were people tuning in because of the Superbowl hype, and then tuning out again?).

Keep T:SSC throught the seasona and 24 In the Winter/Spring.

24 is not as big as it used to be either. FOX needs to clean house, IMO.

But of the three, only SCC showed severe franchise fatigue early in its FIRST season.

Promotional push may be a Market to Market issue. Here in INDY, MyTV has a decent amount of radio promo, plus it is a sister station to the CBS affiliate.

Well, since 24 will be ready so much earlier, is there a possibility of running two "days" next season?

Well, mushu, no it wouldn't but I think regular episodes of 20/20 on Mondays until DWTS and The Bachelor return would be a nice improvement for ABC over the NFTU/October Road combo. Like I said, OR can finish its run on Friday nights, and nobody cares about NFTU.

And what amazing consistency for Dance War!!

This I can agree on and seeing that OR isn't returning, Fridays at 8pm wouldn't be an end of the world option leading into Primetime Friday editions. 20/20 Mondays would be good filler for sweeps. Notes from the Underbelly, as much as I enjoy it, should just be relegated to online duty along with Cavemen and Carpoolers. Jim and Just for Laughs repeats into new episodes of each can fill Tuesdays 8 to 10pm.

Maybe if they changed the name to "18"

Agreed. I skip through the ads most of the time, but noticed many on FOX and FX on the week's prior.

BTW, where is the source for this report on the Paradise Hotel 2 numbers?

At home (and ironically also the MNTV for local cable here at school) is a digital sub of a huge CBS affiliate (the largest spanning CBS affiliate in the nation actually) so its very well run. We even get local news on it from the sister station when NFL games run long on the weekend at 5:30.
