Terminator faced more competition than Prison break, though. Certainly, facing Heroes would be difficult given the demo crossover, but Terminator ratings to this point show that the program would be worth keeping even if it needed to be relocated to a different night.

SCC is just better than Prison Break. PB keeps losing and while others say PB has their audience I disagree.. PB has dropped considerably while SCC is holding its own. If FOX needs to choose between SCC or PB - It will pick SCC based on viewership and demos .

Fox won't be picking between them. My guess is both are back in the fall and Bones gets Fridays permanently along with a new drama. Another new drama pairs with House on Tuesdays. Wednesdays are exactly the same as last fall. Ditto for Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

PB may well be at the end of its rope, or near it, but to talk about SCC 'holding its own' is just absurd--they've broadcast exactly four episodes so far, and the only time the ratings didn't drop significantly was after they extensively plugged the show on the SECOND MOST-WATCHED BROADCAST OF ALL TIME. And it still fell slightly in the demo.

If it stays at its current level for the rest of its run, great--FOX should renew it. If it doesn't, they may renew it anyway. But when it sinks below PB's current levels, I can just hear people saying "Well, FOX can't expect to find anything better!"

Actually, Warner Bros. Television controls the Terminator franchise, in this case. If you're going to bash something at least get the facts right

Good point.

So the ratings better not fall much more.

What I can't understand in all this is the reduced priority for BONES.

It turned in a surprisingly solid fall performance and why spend 3 years building a show to jettison it to fridays?

FOX is building a very strong schedule these days. They have drastically changed their Thursday fortunes. They have House and two nights of Idol in the 'spring', so it makes sense for them to try and turn Friday into a night where people are willing to watch TV. People need to stop looking at the Bones move as a way to dump the show and start looking at it as FOX believing in the show enough that they are willing to build a Friday foothold around it.

I agree with Obveeus, but Fridays are such a death night these days in general that one really has to wonder. I almost think its moving there so they have it in the wings when some of the new stuff flops.
