Well, the fast affiliate ratings for Monday, Feb. 4 are finally here. What follows are the overall results, followed by the half-hour breakdown by program (in the order of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and the CW)
Look at the growth for DoND at 10:30. Maybe a game show, any gameshow, that actually gave away a milion dollars would be a hit? The interesting part is that none of those viewers switched over from a CSI rerun. Now that is loyalty.
at those 20/20 numbers. My father spent that entire summer absolutely obsessed with the Natalee Holloway case, and it was practically all he ever talked to me about, but I didn't think there were that many people like him.

Maybe the networks should all hand over their marketing departments to the 'news' divisions?
I was expecting scc to get around 9/10 mil. Atleast it was up slightly since last week. Looks like 8 mil is it's core. A good sign is that it's still growing out of Prison Break, even if Prison Break's numbers aren't all that great.

Some thoughts: Gladiators has lost its nostalgia feel and is now just a mediocre hit. Shocker that the Captain managed to grow out of its lead in. Prison Break and SCC held steady week to week but disappointing considering the Superbowl hype. CW showed growth through the night but still disappointing. Christine did okay. Could certainly be better but lets wait a week and see what happens once it doesn't have to face a high rated Natalie Holloway 20/20. Strong DOND, 20/20, and still decent Dance Wars.
Oh and let me just say before the nonsense begins that 20/20 will not pull those numbers consistently week to week if left on a higher HUT level night like Monday or Tuesday. Natalie Holloway is a big case and the normal 20/20 episodes would rarely pull as many viewers.
9:00 p.m. Fox Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Viewers: 8.84 million (#4), A18-49: 3.5/ 8 (#3) ----------
9:30 p.m.
Fox Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Viewers: 8.86 million (#4), A18-49: 3.5/ 9 (#2t)
Well, if these numbers do hold, staying even or a very slight uptick is encouraging.
I never thought the Super Bowl Promos would do that much since it got a large sample out of the NFC Championship game. Most viewers already know about it and what its about.

Not really a shock since it was the series premiere and its lead-in was a repeat. Now, if Welcome to the Captain can maintain those ratings after people saw episode one, that will be a shock.

Why the huge rise in the demos in the second hour of American Gladiators?
You're dreaming if you think FOX will cancel PRISON BREAK. The ratings have been consistant and with 24 possibly not back till 2009-they are going to want to have this series on in the fall where viewers are going to look for some familiarity in programming.
As for the ABC HOLLOWAY special...there is something really distrubing about ABC getting a ratings bonanza on the dead body of a beutiful young girl.
