Didn't lost go a couple minutes over into the 10pm Hour? I'm pretty sure I saw MY DRV Program Listings have it that way.

What happened to SN? Ouch. Bad news after bad news for CW
You know Robert, that is what I would like to know. I just do not understand it at all. And that was a really good SN episode last night. I think it is high-time they switch SN timeslot.
How many times have they done that already?
uh, once. They switched it from Tues to Thurs, and that was way back when. They put a couple of repeats on Sunday and that's it. It hasn't been switched around like Veronica Mars, nor what they are doing with Reaper.
Lost is taking a lot of our viewers because there's a big crossover in viewers for Lost and Supernatural. Also, wenart, Bela sucks not only the brains out of the main characters, but the ratings also.
ES will likely settle at 7-8 million. It can't last.
Lost lost over a million viewers from last week, while it is up from last season. It's not going in the right direction if it doesn't settle there. Getting 14 million next airing won't be good.

I think FOX being #1 for the season was a given once the Stike actually started. I thought it had a chance even without the strike since it had a better fall than it usually has.

Herm, I am just frustrated with it all. I thought last nights episode was so good. These numbers disappoint me a lot. I just hope people DVR the show. Will that help..who knows.
Originally posted by Ratings Junkee: Pretty solid numbers for Lost. It looks like that show has rebounded from last Spring. With the writer's strike near an end, it looks likes possibly a whole season of Lost. Pretty impressed with Eli Stone too. I know the numbers went down from last week, but most shows that have led out of Lost seem to nosedive pretty fast. It beat LJ and won the demo. Let's see how week 3 is.
FOX held study with it's surprising combo of the year. Was hoping for that girl to win the million. Even I knew that question. DFTL did very well for a repeat and against the Donald. Did they already cancel Singing Bee?
NBC is in bad shape now. LJ just tanked. It did worse than I thought. I thought it would peak some interest with Brooke as the leading lady. I guess people are just waiting for the Sex and the City movie to come out. Why they renewed Celebrity Apprentice is beyond me. I'm so tired of Trump's ego. The show was good for 1-2 editions. It's just boring now.

Actually ES is fading faster than most of the new shows
Did better than Lipstick Jungle and Cashmere Mafia. What other new this spring is doing better than Eli Stone, other than Moment of Truth?

CBS was unlucky with the strike, Next season will return to the Number 1 spot
It looks like the Lost curse continues!!! It looks like Lost will never have a compatible show to follow them. I truly think that the only thing that may work is either a newsmagazine or an animated show, which I am glad to say that abc just hired Mike White(King of the Hill) to create a new animated show for them. Hopefully they will put this on after Lost.

How is doing better than LJ when LJ only aired one episode? In terms of drops between the first and the second episode ES is doing worse than almost all new shows

If CW itself isn't canceled soon, I could see them bringing it back one more time. But it won't do well in any timeslot, and if they keep switching it around to find a better night and time, people will say the ratings are bad because they keep switching timeslots.
How many years does it need to run? How many variations of the same exact story do they have to come up with? At this point in time, the longer it runs, the less fondly it will be remembered.
The answer is never. Since the CW started its always been Smallville then Supernatural. Neither has ever held another day or time slot.

I agree that once the strike started and lasted into this year, FOX was in the driver's seat with the lack of shows CBS has. If it wasn't for that, it seems like CBS always gets those viewers and probably would of barely won. I know they also had the Super Bowl last year, but have the final ratings for the 07-08 season?

I know there are quite a few posters that have said they watched Lost and DVRd SN. So, hopefully that will help, but those ratings are horrid.

American Gladiators, Perhaps T:SCC when you compare same episode number trends.

Well, it already beat LJ, so that says something. Maybe some viewers went over to check out that show. Wonder how that will do next week. Let's see how next week pans out then.
