Putting Rita Rocks head to head with HIMYM doesn't make much sense, especialy from a netwrok that will air HIMYM in syndication. Any idea what will air on Tuesdays? Lifetime network must have something big planned for that night...or they just made a really bad scheduling mistake.
What is Rita rocks? I thought it was a kids show but since it's on Lifetime, I guess not.
Is thr Jericho that aired on CW last night the same Jericho that CBS canceled twice?
Rita Rocks is a family comedy about a mom that tries to run her family while playing in a band in her garage. You should check it out if you like family comedies.

I have no idea, but from the looks of it, they are trying to build a strong Monday night lineup.

Secret Life of a Teenager starts back up in January...on Monday 8-9pm. That same timeslot seems like a bad spot for Lifetime to try and build an audience.

Yes, it's better than their MRC stuff, but it's not something that can sustain itself in the long run. If this is the best CW can do, they should think about stopping programming on that night.

I wonder how The CW did with the repeats of their two comedies and repeats of The Drew Carey Show. I guess with those numbers The CW will call it a success, and stop trying.
It's painfully bad when you compare it to the Reba-7th Heaven numbers, but when compared to the Online Nation-CW Now-Life is Wild numbers or the MRC numbers, it's an improvement. The bar has fallen so low, all a show must do to be considered successful on that night is break 1 million rather than 4 or 5.

It may be an improvement, but that doesn't mean it's a success.
The CW needs to go back to the formula that made the WB moderately successful in it's early days.
When I think of the WB I think of shows like Buffy, Angel and Charmed. The only things I watch on the CW are Supernatural and Reaper, which are both in the same wheelhouse. I understand that they are going for the younger female audience (definitely younger than me), but young women like more than just shows about spoiled rich kids. More than anything they like shows about hot guys...see Supernatural and Smallville.
It's time for CW to start looking at their options for next year. A call to FOX for a deal for a Buffy spin-off of some kind would be my first though. Lots of folks are still wailing about a Spike show. Many of Whedon's writers and actors floating around out there too. Same thing with Charmed. Isn't Allysa Milano looking for a show? How about a sitcom for Holly Marie Combs.
They also might want to take a look at the box office to see what young women are interested in at the moment.
