The Mentalist needs to hold on to its pilot viewing numbers. The demos are already a problem so a drop in viewing numbers would be alarming
Regarding animal rights, do you know if CBS has any intention of bringing back GAT next summer? That was a horror show for an animal lover. That's what i would fine if i were the FCC not Janet Jackson's boob
The abundance of reality programming running in the spring was due to the writer's strike. Even though HUT levels are not peaking at that time of year, the networks will run scripted programming during the week as long as there's an audience to support it. Friday nights tend not to have as large an audience, so the nets tend to run a higher proportion of reality on lower HUT nights like Friday.
This past season was an anomaly in a lot of ways.
