I've only watched a couple of TD episodes so i'm not familiar with what happened on the show. Why they've kicked the Woodcocks from the show. The actors left or it was a producers decision. Seems really stupid, after all the show was about the contrast between a newly married cople and a long married one
Wow, I'm surprised how ABC outperformed NBC/CBS/Fox by a considerable margin (for the debate) -- wonder why, especially considering the lead-ins. For the repub/dem conventions, the 3 networks were usually very close in the ratings...
For the first time in this premiere week of the 2008-9 season, the A18-49 was up over the same week last year by 8% on a 5-network basis (viewership was up by 1%).
After five nights of Week 1, ABC maintains a solid lead and looks well on the way towards winning the week.
# Net A18-49 (Viewer millions-#) =============================== 1. ABC 3.94 (13.420-#1) 2. CBS 3.44 (12.002-#2) 3. NBC 3.12 (7.808-#3) 4. FOX 2.52 (6.442-#4) 5. CW 1.44 (3.378-#5) 6. MNT 0.47 (1.315-#6) -> first 4 nights only
If AYSTAFG is doing this bad, I wonder how Wife Swap and Supernanny will do. Will they follow the same path, or do better? After seeing AYSTAFG, I betting they go down the same path.
VOTE IN THE PIF NETWORK GAME: http://pifeedback.com/eve/foru...93910104/m/660102182 TONIGHT: ---> NEW <--- EPISODES OF SURVIVORS: REVISITED, REALITY UPDATE, GENERATIONS APART, HIGH SCHOOL SUPERSTARS!, AND SPORTS WORLD!
We won't be seeing those typical/ very healthy (by CW standards) for The CW on Friday nights. Next week Oct. 3, I predict The CW will only score around 2.0 million OR WORSE, as "The Game" and "Everybody Hates Chris" season premieres ARE LACKING PROMOTION.
MyNetworkTV will have a major gain as SmackDown! premieres on Oct. 3 with an All-Star Kick Off from all of WWE's three rosters, RAW, ECW, and SmackDown + they have the WrestleMania PPV debut on TV on Oct. 2.

The networks should schedule political debates every Friday night.

Great news ! I'd love to see TM be the new surprise hit of the season .
All you 5 posts have been about Mentalist. You really like this show
I like it to, i find it very similar with The Closer one of my favourites. A little darker, but the same whitty writing, brilliant lead actor, and good supporting cast

LOL Robert :-) Yes I do really enjoy TM . I wasn't familiar with Simon Baker as many were but who I think is charming as Patrick but I am familar with Robin Tunney who it seems evokes mixed reaction in people from liking /hating her acting but I've always found her to be a great actress from her work on movies and of course Prison Break so her addition to the show was one of the reasons I decided checking it out and as always I think she is doing impressive . I also really like the concept for the series too ( I also like Psych on USA and see no similarities but yet others do )and the Red story arc has tremendous potential . The supporting cast is outstanding, too, and I'd like to see this series get a second season .
Looks like debate pre-tune helped out Mentalist, 20/20 and even Toughest Jobs, which upticked from last week. On the other hand, Fox's relatively unwatched coverage did no favors for 5th Grader... but it's still a disappointment.
Remember out west the debate aired at 6pm PT so maybe that is way The Mentalist did high as it followed the debate out west.
Also, 20/20 aired 8pm ET but out west it aired at 10pm PT. Hard to figure out the numbers. ABC was the clear winner because 20/20 was only the lead-in to the debate in E/C and out west the local news was lead in to the debate at 6pm pt.
