I must admit that I would definitely tune it for "King Lear as interpreted by E" Wink

Well, didn't King Lear (the one with Ian McKellan and possibly full-frontal nudity) just air on local PBS affiliates?

And aren't E's ratings up this year due in part to the Kardashians and the usually funny Chelsea Handler show?

I'm not really sure what that has to do with the comedic value of "King Lear as interpreted by E", but I'm sorry to say that I did not notice my PBS station showing King Lear. Frowner I wish I had, I really like McKellen's work.

I'll have to keep my eye open for a repeat. Thanks for the heads-up. Smiler

Then by your reasoning, 90 percent of the networks' schedules should be canceled, including every show on The CW and My Network TV. We live in a different era now when it comes to measuring a show's popularity, where Nielsen ratings aren't the only barometer of a program's success.

NBC scheduled Celebrity Apprentice well. Sundays from 9 to 11 PM is a perfect place as there aren't any shows like it currently scheduled and they can own an audience. It should be scheduled in the exact same time and day next year. I'd say the same thing for Southland, but with Leno, that isn't a possibility.

NBC is really taking a loose interpretation with the term "celebrity" with this cast. Eeker

Yet its a cast that should make enough noise for this to do fairly well.
