Supernatural will be on repeat next two Thursdays. So it would not compete against the ending of the tragic death of Meredith and the conclusion of the OC.
Seriously I am hoping that Meredith will become that wonderful dead narrator like Desperate Housewives. Although seeing Denny in ghost form is a little too freaky even for Grey's standards.

Marc can label SN whatever he wants to label it. I'm just glad that it's back up over 3 million and the 18-49 demo is back up to 1.4. Hopefully the 18-34 demo is higher, but Travis isn't here. Waaaaaa!!!! stomps feet...wants finals already...
But last night's numbers were truley awful. They haven't been that bad in a while.

First time it's ever been as high as 11.21 million.

Isn't this the first time this month that total viewers have been as high as 11.21 million, and i'm fairly sure that it's the first time it's scored over a 4.0 rating in the 18-49 demo since the pilot aired...
I'm hopeful for MIT's future, creatively it's compatible with Ugly Betty and GA, and ABC would be wise to keep all 3 shows in their respective timeslots for the 07-08 season.
If MIT doesn't cut the mustard next season, then I would understand ABC's decision to axe it then.

Next 3 Thursdays, actually. The next new episode is March 15th...which is kind of random because after that episode there's another hiatus.

Originally posted by thewbrocks67: Marc, I think your too hard on Supernatural. It had to go up against CSI and this huge stunt on Greys and this week is was actually up 350,000 viewers from last week (2.84 million to 3.19 million). 70% retention in Adults 18-49 isnt too shabby and 63% retention against the competition that it has is not as bad as it could be, as you sometimes state. It does need to get better but its #s against this huge Greys stunt are respectable.
ROFL. Why do people take Marc's comments (loser/winner) as the end-all-be-all? They are simply Mark's opinion/assessment of the RATINGS. He's not putting any show down by calling it a loser...unless he actually SAYS something about it being a bad show/episode. LOL. But I don't really ever see that.

Last night's Shark was really good. I'm glad it got over 15M viewers, although I'm sad to see the bodyguard go: he was both hot and a good actor. I liked him when he was on Entourage as well.

You can't put a show on a month and a half hiatus, usually that would kill it. Lost went on hiatus for three months and crashed.

He can't say that - the rabid fans will hunt him down
Was anyone rooting for Meredith to die? LOL. I cannot stand her. Her voice grates on my nerves, her slutting it up drives me crazy and I hate how all the men think she is god's gift. Pompeo is a bit of a diva too. In the National Enquirer they said she screamed at camera crew person. She seems a bit snotty to me and stuck up. Apparently she and Dempsey want huge amounts of money to continue. Pompeo could overtake Haritay as the highest paid female on TV. I find her so overated. Am I the only one who finds her so overated? She is in all the press, magazine covers and people seem to crow about her. Also love how Men in Trees is growing. The main thing is it is not going down but growing and staying consistent. It is very close to ER this week which was great for the show. Even if ABC does not keep Trees post Grey's next season, it is wise for them to grow it so it can move elsewhere next season.
I for one think SN held its own quite nicely considering it was against the GA ferry fiasco and CSI - not only did it see an increase from last week in total viewers, but the demos and the retention was also up!
