If the strike doesn't end Moonlight will be renwed despite of the fact that it's bringing CBS's lineup down
Lets not forget that this IS a freshman series. You can't expect it to do as well as the veteran series that surround it. ONLY droping a 1.5 million viewers and 0.5 in the demo is not to bad.
You know, if Dexter does well during the Sunday run, I wonder if CBS would think about a Sunday Lineup that finishes with Dexter and Monlight at (9pm & 10pm), or other similar type of programs.
Yep Moonlight is doing good on fridays after GW.
But CBS isn't continue airing DEXTER its a showtime cable show and thats its home. It belongs on cable with its violence, nudity and faul language. So how can you sugest that Dexter should air on sundays on CBS?
Well CBS is already doing this so what's the problem? If it airs now why it cannot air next season?
Yeah but that is repeats of season 1 they are airing. NEW episodes of Dexter should remain on SHOWTIME because it is a show that requires cable network like WEEDS and other Showtime shows
I remember the Friday nights back in the late 80's early 90's, when a ABC cancelled a show called Just the Ten of Us, because it was the lowest rated show of the evening, but still averaged a 20 share and about 17-18 million viewers a week

I remember that this show wasn't cancelled because of ratings but because Bob Iger is too stupid to live. He apparently thought TGIF stood for Miller-Boyett Productions, so ditched the one show in the lineup that wasn't produced by them in favor of a new pilot that was, "Going Places." Even with the presence of so-called TV show rescuer Heather Locklear, "Going Places" went nowhere. Suffice to say, Iger didn't win the race and never learned the rules of the game. He did get kicked upstairs a few times, though.
I also remember a pretty good pilot called "Miss Jones" (starring Christine Ebersole and created by the same guy who did her earlier show, "The Cavanaughs," Bob Moloney) that ABC passed on that year. It aired in that time slot over the summer... and even it did better than "Going Places."
-- "Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."
