CBS did really well last night but it’s interesting that CSI: Miami held onto 100% of the Big Bang Theory’s viewers but lost 1.3 of the demo but it was only down a tad from the hyped crossover.
Castle is doing well but it will be interesting what the final result as it may be skewed by overrun.
That is the problem with not only GG, but almost all of the CW programs. The attract a small niche audience. It may be popular within that very small crowd, but it is still a small crowd. Yes, the CW does well in the W12-25 range , but it is also its downfall, IMO.

I had thought we'd never see anything but finals, but Castle isn't doing well at all, and the drop shows that. It's not just DWTS. People started watching, then tuned out.
Again, the crossover's goal was to TRY an increase the regular viewership of the original series. If CSI can do a 3.8 this Thursday, then the crossover event will be a success. If it goes back to its now usual 3.5ish demo, then it did not accomplish its goal and was nothing more than a "Sweeps Event"

LTM had a weird drop also.
Even with all of it's stunts and promotions, it's interesting that OTH still outrates GG. I'm sure that can't make CW too happy.
Two minute overrun of DWTS at 10pm, the gap should shrink in finals.

Look at the last half hour of DWTS, then compare it to the last half hour of Castle, if you really want to see a gap.
I agree. Their concepts might pull in their target demos but it's never going to appeal to a wide audience. Until it broadens it's spectrum, it's going to be seen as a netlet.

Well yeah but GG is 5 times more hyped and talked about than let's say Samllville, OTH or 90210 yet the numbers are pretty much similar. That's the strange fact.

I thought it was one of the worse episode of the show. The only thing that worked was Raj's pot induced fantasy about ruling rabbits.

Per viewer GG is the most over hyped show on TV. I cannot believe the media spends so much time on a show no one watches. It also is the biggest joke when GG gains 30% or more in the DVR ratings. When you take 30% more of an already low number it is still a very low number.

"The Jay Leno Show" should have had better results than this. Leno had Taylor Lautner (star of the "Twilight" and "New Moon" movies) as well as Heather Locklear (of the old and new "Melrose Place").
I was expecting a bump up in the ratings due to Lautner, but if Leno can't even pull in more than 5 million viewers with one of Hollywood's current hottest young stars, then he (and NBC) is really in trouble.
