Maybe Americans have had enough of 'war' anything?
Originally posted by TV-aholic: Ya know, instead of always being the d-list contestant on these shows, Stephen Baldwin Need to host a reality show, and the Mole would be perfect for him.
I would have said Corbin Bersen- but he's got a gig on GSN that's starting tonight....
Wipeout I believe is going to be more like the Japanese show "Sasuke" (Shown as "Ninja Warrior" on G4)
Its amazing how far, and quick, these two fell. Baldwin was in a hit movie (Usual Suspects) and the next thing you know, hes on every other reality show.
Bersen had a couple of decent projects after LA Law, but that was quickly followed by being a Relaity staple.
Yet, celeb's like Jimmy Fallon continue to get good jobs in the industry. Go Figure.

Why not bring back 'Dog Eat Dog'? that already was 'Fear Factor' without the gross stuff. Of course, 'Dog Eat Dog' also added in some intellectual stuff in the form of questions and maybe Primetime isn't ready for any questions that a 5th grader couldn't answer.
While we're waiting for the 30-minute breakdowns for Dance War - some encouraging signs on 18-49 courtesy of MediaLife:
At 8 p.m. Fox led with a 7.3 for its first hour of BCS Championship Game coverage, followed by NBC with a 4.8 for “Gladiators.” ABC was third with a 2.8 for its first hour of the new show “Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann,” CBS fourth with a 2.1 for repeats of “How I Met Your Mother” and “Big Bang Theory,” Univision fifth with a 1.5 for “Amar sin Limites” and CW sixth with a 0.7 for repeats of “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Aliens in America.”
Fox led again at 9 p.m. with an 8.3 for football, with NBC second with a 3.6 for “Deal or No Deal.” CBS was third with a 3.4 for repeats of “Two and a Half Men” and “Rules of Engagement,” ABC fourth with a 3.1 for “Dance,” Univision fifth with a 1.6 for “Pasion” and CW sixth with a 0.7 for repeats of “Girlfriends” and “The Game.”
Too bad for OR. I really dig the show, and at least I can take comfort in knowing that it will run its course because of the writers strike. No way ABC would take off original scripted programming during a strike.
As for AG, I have to agree...get rid of the HORRIBLE hosts and focus on the competition. That eliminator is GRUELING.

Yes, the hosts are distracting. Hopefully NBC rethinks them.

NBC has finally stopped the bleeding at 10pm..."Medium" actually increased slightly in its second half-hour. The last time that happened was probably when, well...when "Medium" was in this slot two seasons ago!
It's good to see the show back, and continuing with compelling, well-written stories that aren't afraid to shake-up the mix.

Gladiators will benefit, but I'm not so sure about Dance Wars. I don't think DW would have a lot of cross-over audience with sports.
i think laila ali is totally fine and hulk would be if he lowered the tone a tiny bit and cut back on the "brother". The way they cut to commercials is interesting-no warning at all.

I think the key here is actually the lead-in. Deal or No Deal delivers a lead-in audience of TV watchers while Heroes delivers a lead-in audience of people anxious to go chat about Heroes somewhere instead of continuing to watch TV.
