Cool! That's one step up from Bionic Woman and Journeyman.

I fully expect a AG 2nd-season pickup very soon with these numbers...probably for a summer run (a couple of the gladiators are injured from what I hear-Crush has a MMA fight coming up on Showtime next month, and it will take time to get new contestants and tweak the show a little)
and you did hear ABC is bringing back The Mole for next summer, right? It was a cool reality show- just hope they don't mess it up too much form the first go round (one good thing- no celebs, it's a civilian edition)
Again, I bring up the suggestion of bringing back Fear Factor on NBC.
Good idea to bring the Mole back. Bad idea to change the host. ABC should have done anything they could to entice Anderson Cooper to do it again. It could either be a big hit or a big disaster.
If they got rid of "The Hulkster", I might try it again. but he ruins the show for me.
Isn't he awful! Why is he still dressed like that, and why does he yell everything? I tried to watch, since everything other than the BCS and American Gladiators was pre-empted here for nonstop tornado coverage, but I couldn't stand him.

As horribly as it's doing now, OR did average 10.5 million viewers and a 4.4 in the demo last year. I can see it being renewed, the question is why hasn't it been canceled yet?
I think iots too soon to think about Fear Factor returning. It fizzled out beacuse it got old. Its only been gone about 3, maybe 4 seasons. Plus it had been in the syndication market which helped over saturate it.

The producers of Fear Factor are making a show for ABC (I believe it's Wipeout) that they describe as Fear Factor without the gross stuff.
Also, this is so great & weird that ABC is bringing back The Mole -- I watched a marathon of season 2 on Fox Reality and was thinking that show needed to come back.
They can't bring back Anderson Cooper because he is now signed with CNN. Also, at the time he was a little known overnight news anchor. A person in his mold, currently with ABC news is David Muir -- I think he would make a good host for this show. I'm glad they're not bringing back Ahmad...
Ya know, instead of always being the d-list contestant on these shows, Stephen Baldwin Need to host a reality show, and the Mole would be perfect for him.

In series-premiere news, the two-hour launch of ABC’s Dance Wars remained in the competitive loop, with 10.97 million viewers and a 3.0/ 7 among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m.
Marc, I know its always asked, but what are the 1/2 hour break down for Dance Wars and why do you think the Dancing With the Stars crowd didn't show up for DW?
Too me it doesn't make sence that they would not at least sample it for the fiorst episode.
Well, I'm a huge DWTS fan and I could only stand about 20 minutes of Bruno last night -- it's incredible to me that little doses of him can be so effective on DWTS but so much of him was oh so bad last night. Carrie Ann was okay but Bruno was insufferable.
As far as AG, I'm also shocked at how well it's doing, especially in the demo. It just may prove NBC wiser after all for going after male demographics. ABC is really losing me with all the estrogen shows... NBC is really having a spectacular midseason streak!
I tried AG again last night, and I liked it alot better than the few minutes I watched on Sunday. I just needed to watch the whole episode to get a feel for it. Hulk "brother" Hogan is still incredibly awkward, but I think he'll get better. People like the dude.
What does the great results for AG mean for Chuck, though. If AG lead off the night at 8 followed by Chuck at 9, I think that would be a solid two-hour block of television.
Good for Medium for its numbers. That show is able to masterfully blend authentic family drama with the gruesomeness of that week's crime. I hope to see it improve.

I would have said Corbin Bersen- but he's got a gig on GSN that's starting tonight....
Wipeout I believe is going to be more like the Japanese show "Sasuke" (Shown as "Ninja Warrior" on G4)
Originally posted by TravisYanan: Medium had a 3.3/8 in A18-49, FYI. That's pretty good retention for a show that's been off the air for a while and came back with little fanfare in a different timeslot than it last aired in. And it did considerably better than it's season finale (May 16th, 2007)
I thought Medium had an effective opening with people in the street recounting how last season ended...a novel way of re-capping.
I found the episode considerably more chilling than normal, and Miss Angelica Huston was absolutely transfixing on the screen in her newly recurring role on Medium.
Although I haven't seen the half-hourlies yet for Dance Wars, I expect it slipped as viewers deserted the show for Two and a Half Men or Meet My Folks, and it's 9:59 pm lead-in to October Road was something less than 11 million viewers and three percent of all young adults.
That being said, poor October Road. It is now tracking worse than the better series What About Brian did at this point last year. I found last nights episode lame and contrived, with The Cupcake Kid now in charge of municipal contracts, and the corny resolution of it all. Why doesn't this series move Ms. Prepon's character more into the centre is beyond me... the gang of guys and their macho antics is starting to grate on my nerves.
