Originally posted by A.C.: Monday night is pretty bland right now without PRISON BREAK, TERMINATOR and 24 to liven things up...way to much reality and comedy (though SAMANTHA WHO will be a welcome addition to the lineup next month.)
Speaking of PRISON BREAK I was thrilled about the 22 episode pickup and the news that the spinoff is still being developed. There were a lot of naysayers on this board on Tuesday mornings predicting the end of BREAK...but the show delivered consistantly to a loyal fan base and its renewel was truly merited.
I agree with you. I watched Big Bang Theory, which was very good. But other than that, I cant get into anyhting on Monday. I miss Chuck/Prison Break/24/Heroes. Its just not the same when there is nothing with action/suspense on on mondays...
But yes, its great that Prison Break is coming back. It might not be a ratings magnet, but you know exactly what you are going to get (just like with 24, Heroes and Chuck).
However, I dont know how thrilled I am about the spin-off (women breaking out of prison sounds about as good as a 90210 spin-off that has nothing to do with the actual show)..

My guess is a new drama on Tuesday with House and a new drama on Friday with Bones. PB and SCC return to Monday with Til Death, Back to You, and Kitchen Nightmares filling Wed. again and the gameshows on Thursday. Sunday may see a new comedy.

Like it or not ROE will put up much better numbers post Two And A Half Men...
Looks like HIMYM will get renewed again....
Agreed about Fox. I think they will add a new 1/2 hour comedy for sunday night (and get rid of KOH or AD). I think they will add Dollhouse, Fringe and one other drama . One of those paired with Bones on Fri nights, one to air on Tue's and the other for the spring. Also one/two more comedy's to fill in around Back To You. I don't think their is going to be room for New Amsterdam. Well at least I don't think Fox is going to try to squeeze in a show that is not performing as well as it should or has the potential to be a big hit.
I guess they will have to admit for sure if they plan to bring back Scrubs. Beyond listing which shows will be renewed/cancelled, I think that any schedule will be written in pencil. NBC is 'hell bent' on pretending that they are leading the way, aren't they?
Side note: I see that Silverman has had his 'duties' reduced a bit as the cable development has been turned over to more capable hands: Link
CBS has found its way on Mondays- Big Bang Theory for the remainder of the season i think will stay in the high 8'2, low 9's...HIMYM did fantastic last night, a really good episode. i think it will not drop that severly. keep in the middle 9's i think. they should definitely keep britney in the show more..2.5 men did on par. it will stay in the mid 14's. and new adventures, very surprised how the retention was so poor. it was a good episode. thats quite worrysome. but still 9.9 is good. and kudos to CSI:Miami with a good return
