Not that I know of. CBS just signed on CCH Pounder to lead The Tower pilot.

Is CBS getting rid of all of their African American actors?

I don't think that CBS is purging all of its African-American actors....Wanda Sykes (New Christine), Shemar Moore (great on Criminal Minds), Marianne Jean-Baptiste (great on Without a Trace), and Tracie Thoms and Thom Barry (both on Cold Case) come to mind immediately. They are still onboard.
Of course, there could - and should - be more, but I don't think Khandi Alexander and the CSI departure were because of race.

8 p.m. My Name is Earl (NBC) Viewers: 6.77 million (#3), A18-49: 2.6/ 9 (#2)
8:30 p.m. 30 Rock Viewers: 6.42 million (#3), A18-49: 2.8/ 8 (#2)
My Name is Earl and 30 rocks are failures and they should be axed.

I didn't mean for the comment to sound like I was suggesting that CBS was racist. Many of these cast departures are the choice of the actors involved anyway, not the shows. It just seems like there have been a disproportionate number of African American actors listed as leaving network shows in the last week or so.
All of the cast departures shouldn't be that shocking. These actors have been with their respective series for a decent amount of time. It's not like a couple of seasons. We're talking 5 to 9 seasons. I respect any actor that would want to leave after that period of time especially with playing the same role. These sudden cast departures were bound to happen since we are talking about procedural and legal series that can go on for a long time.
BTW what ever happened to keeping the departures a secret, wouldn't it be more effective to have the actors/characters exit be surprising instead of knowing it ahead of time?...

Yet you claim shows like Eli Stone and Canteburry's Law should return because they're doing well.
Saw Duel tonight. Wasn't half bad. Should get some week to week gains since the Price is Right is not on. Fox could also get a boost tonight. Most Outrageous Moments could end up winning the 8pm demo.
Every year there seems to be that one show that nobody really wants to see get cancelled and they want it to return for another season. This year, in my opinion, that show is Canterbury's Law. What do you think?

Khandi Alexander - she had a certain value in the series but both her character and the CSI examiner get a bit too morbid for me with the way they handle the dead. I realize these shows are more scientific than the L&O's but there is an issue of taste.
Diane Neal - she was generally effective but both her and Stephanie March had to live with the fact that this is only marginally a legal drama and this show does not dole out the airtime the same way other crime shows do.
CBS talent - one of the better casts has gone to waste on a show that lost its early ratings and that has been creatively inconsistent, THE UNIT.

I was a little surprised to hear they were casting a new ADA at all. I figured they'd go the CI route and just have a guest actor pop in a couple times per season as needed.
But I guess this is the one L&O still doing well enough to not require the big budget cuts.

I was thinking the same thing, that they could turn it into more of an arc. But there are alot of probably easily forgotten scenes like 'get evidence I can use' and rulings that add legitimacy to the eps that require somebody to be in most of the scripts.
