But it's still low low ratings. On any other network (except the CW of course) it would rightly have gone to the Loser category; 5th grader at least, since DFtL was a - lowrated, not 'Honorable' - repeat.
There is no reason to judge those low-quality ratings-challenged stupid games by specific standards just because they air on Fox. NBC is criticized a lot, but Fox does worse most of the time and without AI would be in terrible shape.
Fox doing worse than NBC? FOX only has AI? You need to read the ratings more often.
- House is usually a top 10 show. - Bones is growing into a 9-10 million viewer show. - 5th Grader BEAT NBC the last 2 weeks. - Lyrics is growing in its time slot, and beat the NBC shows - Both are vast improvements for FOX on that night than in previous seasons
Is FOX on the level of CBS and ABC, perhaps not, but it is nowhere near the level of the CW. Thats reserved for NBC, while the CW dips down to MyTV levels
it usually get under a 3 in demo, and 6-7 million viewers

just because it improved doesnt mean their ratings are good, I mean the fact that the cw can beat fox at certain time periods is shameful enough (smackdown, top model also beats fox in demo)

That's right I'm sorry. Fox doesn't only have AI, it also has House.

9 millions? Amazing!

Not in the demo and NBC is not doing too well either.

"Growing" only out of other terrible Fox shows last year.

Exactly.

Hell no, it is a low-rated failing network and this year's improvement only shows how bad it has always done outside of AI/House and the sunday cartoons.
Again, too often Fox shows seem to get some special treatment; lower expectations don't apply to Fox after such a long time, when it has hits like AI on its schedule.

Fox Don’t Forget the Lyrics (R) Viewers: 6.71 million (#3), A18-49: 2.1/ 5 (#4)
How is that in any way "Honorable"? Same goes for 5th grader, those ratings are horrible and CW-worthy. Too often in these forums Fox shows gets off too easily. Fox is a network for a long time now, and getting that kind of numbers is just a complete failure.
(not to mention that 30 rock out-performed both in the demo but is a 'loser')

Yeah the CW is just full of shows bringing in 6.7! I would list them all here but don't have the time. What a tool!

You are completely right, I had to look as far as YESTERDAY to find a CW show doing better in the demo:
"The CW capped off the evening with original installments of the still potent America’s Next Top Model (Viewers: #5, 4.62 million; A18-49: #3, 2.3/ 6) "
And yes it's a repeat, but other repeats doing better didn't get 'Honorable' this week. 6.7m/2.1 A18-49 is just low.

it's absolutely low, but you are incorrect in stating those are CW numbers. You are comparing the demo of CW TOP show to a repeat. The CW would be ecstatic to have those type of numbers! I'm not saying FOX's numbers are great, but let's compare apples to apples.

no greys fans here?
Watched it. Loved it. I completely agree, Grey's has been on a roll this season. I'd almost given up after the dismal end to last year, but I'm back - hook, line, and sinker. That's why I'm so disappointed ABC handled it so poorly...just like they flubbed up Boston Legal the last few weeks. ABC has my favorite shows, but they sure don't know what to do with them half the time!

Is your plan to cancel everything on NBC or are you going to cancel the old shows and keep the fresh younger shows like Bionic Woman, Friday Night Lights, Medium, Journeyman, Life, Singing Bee, and The Apprentice?
Last year, NBC cancelled more shows than it newly developed this year. That mentality can only be repeated so many times before the whole network is down to L&O/DoND/Dateline.
With SNF on the schedule and if Medium and Chuck return (both likely), NBC can afford to cancel the similarly rated ER and Las Vegas. Then the network can decide on either Friday Night Lights or Life to pair with something new or Medium on Fridays next year. Law and Order, which will return simply because NBC is in bed with Dick Wolf and a new show can pair with it and maybe DOND on Wednesday. Use Earl and the Office to launch a new comedy or two on Thursday. If Lipstick Jungle does decent on Thursday, renew that for there. It's not like they "need" ER's 3.0 demo anymore. They can easily get that out of a new show and its time to clean up and try to find new hits.

totally true, greys and BL are both like some of my favourite shows, they were handled in a very sh*** way, at least DH tornado episode was heavily promoted, as it was an awesome episode
but the way greys two parter was handled was unacceptable, what the *** were they thinking?
