Thank you Marc for posting the numbers on Thanksgiving Day...and have a happy holiday!

Pushing Daisies maintained its dominance of the 8-9 pm hour in the young adult demographic.

CBS was wise to run fresh episodes of their crime procedurals last night...Criminal Minds really took down Private Practice. And what a strong showing from Deal or No Deal too.

The final week of the November Sweep shapes up to be a really tight race between ABC and CBS for the lead, and FOX and NBC too for third place.

Well, amazing night for CBS, even with KN doing poorly, really bad night for ABC and so-so for NBC.
I know the reason for these numbers for CBS vs ABC is beacause the CBS shows skew older and older people don't go out on hilidays as much, but still ABC did really bad last night.
Today CSI will beat GA by 4million at least.

And PD lost half a million in the second half hour so poor result it's not only beacause of the holiday. Not good news for PD, many didn't like what they saw
On the other hand CM gained an amazing 1.2 million.

interesting point of view...i wonder if you realize that more 18-49 demo viewers watched cbs rather then abc? did you also notice that pushing daisies and DSM fell at the 1/2 in viewers and demos?

btw, abc is only 4 years younger than cbs (average age of viewer)....

Thanks for posting on the Hollidays, Marc.

CBS having a better sweeps than the early part of the season would have predicted.

I will be interested to see how ABC Wednesday does once the strike ends and original prgramming returns (next season?)

Horrible numbers for Pushing Daisies. I was really hoping it would get back up to atleast 9.0 mil, was shocked to see it in mid 7!
Atleast it still won its timeslot though.

Its obvious that this dramtic drop is because of Thanksgiving - especially when you look at Private Practice & Dirty Sexy Money's numbers.

Hopefully PD will do better next week at 9/8c

If you read my second post you'll see i noticed the loss in the second half hour.
As for why those numbers for ABC, Thanksgiving plays a major part. The same happened last year, ABC lost many viewers that came back the next week. The only explanation i can give why that happens to ABC and not to CBS is beacause younger people watch ABC. If anyone has other explanations i would be very interested to hear them
