I rally hope they pick it up for 13 episode mid-season replacement.
Why would they pick it up? T:SCC is quite expensive and the ratings are terrible. FOX can just use the game show lineup for a much cheaper cost and somewhat better ratings.
Both shows have to be hugely expensive, SCC more than Dollhouse. With less than 4 million viewers, there's no way both shows will be back next season.
I wonder how Prison Break will do - will the 5 million viewers it had return, will some extra viewers also return for the final episodes, or will people just not care anymore?
I know I don't care anymore and I watched the show religiously until the end of season two.

Ya I know. It was just wishful thinking.
That was a refreshing admission. You should hold a therapy session on the subject in the chat room some time

If they program halfass, they might as well just give back to the affiliates, they need to become aggressive on these poor nights by putting signature shows on them.
What I mean is Sunday nights go with 90210 or One Tree Hill (which fans have always followed over the last 6 years). Reaper has also proven that fans will watch and may make a great addition to Friday night if accompanied by Vampire Diaries.
The CW has no target on Friday. It just put the comedies there because it had nowhere else to put them.

Oh good idea!!! I will send you a invitation and a cookie to go with it!

I would say a fairly certain no on the extra viewers returning. I think it will start out with pretty decent retention of the 5+mm, at least 80% or so, and given the consistency of the fall ratings even at these low levels, it's more likely than not that group will see the thing through even if it is lousy.

Why? Isn't Sunday the more important night for advertisers? Sure, there is more competition if you program Sunday aggressively, but at least there is a bigger audience and an income (advertising) that wants Sunday shows.

There are always some people home on Fridays. The one thing that CW (and the other networks) need to be wary of is serialized programming on Fridays. One week people are home, the next they are out at a bar, restaurant, or party. So, the best way to program the night is to put shows there that don't require viewing every week. yes, the era of DVR reduces that need somewhat, but still, if you aren't programming for old folks, you need to stay away from a highly serialized Friday.

Terminator: This show has been very good since moving to Friday. people not watching it are missing out on a good story. No, it won't be renewed. Yes it is likely just on the air to stretch viewer interest towards the next movie release.
Dollhouse: Last night's episode was lame for the first 3/4ths of the episode, but they pulled it back together in a sensible manner at the end. The problem is, the show is right back to the 'zero progress state' for the 'dolls'. I know this is the result of stupid FOX network meddling to make the show less serialized, but really, this show does not lend itself well to a restart every episode even though that is the premise of the 'dolls'. I still don't see any reason why FOX would be considering this show for renewal. Sure, it does better than FNL and FNL got renewed, but FOX isn't as pathetic these days as NBC.
Prison Break: The fans of this show know it has a set endpoint, so the viewership should return and remain stable through the ending episode. It won't put up impressive Nielsen numbers, but it should do better than the above two shows.
game shows: people are giving the game shows way too much credit. They worked well on Thursday for a time, but they were not working well on Friday and the burnout/end was near.
Overall, FOX probably needs an all new Friday lineup for next Fall...and they would be best served with a very low cost lineup since nothing is going to pull good numbers.

Yes, it is! haven't you heard, it is funnier than any of the CBS sitcoms!.
Sheesh, you claim that your job requires you to watch TV, you sit down for stuff like The Ozbournes, and you watch AI every week even while grioping every week about how boring it is. You would think that your job or your common sense would kick in at some point and tune you in to Reaper on Tuesday nights.
Effective Wednesday, April 8 8:00PM Law & Order (repeats)
Effective Wednesday, April 15 9:00PM Law & Order: SVU (repeats)
I know its just a scheduling change since they need shows to fill in, but is NBC testing the waters for next season? (Law and Order at 8pm and Law and Order: SVU at 9pm)

Friday doesn't setup well for Fox, nor for ABC.
The network that can do some business on friday, if they would wise up, is NBC. They have some highly visible dramas that probably aren't sufficient priority for the main nites anymore but could do adequate numbers on friday.
