That doesn't make any sense, because you listed Smallville at 4.95 million for the whole hour. What's up, Marc? LOL.

Greys Anatomy was awesome last night, it was definitely one of the better episodes and I am happy that its gaining its viewers back, this season overall has been up to par with season 1-2 creatively, and I seriously think that both it and csi were tied, since csi won in viewers, while GA won in the demo, and both csi and especially WAT will be considerably lower next week since there is no crossover

Ugly betty was also very good, but my one complaint is that they should make betty less ugly already and finally let her have a thing with her boss(forgot his name) like they did in the original ugly betty, I mean her storylines were the most boring the last few episodes and her chemistry with the guy with glasses is very boring

The office was good, my only complaint is that it is creatively down this year but it is still very good and it is still one of the better shows on tv

ABC Maintains Narrow Lead in A18-49 After 8 Days of the 2007 November Sweep:

After the first 8 days of the November Sweep, ABC continues to hold a narrow lead over CBS in the young adult demo, with a 3.9 A18-49 average compared to CBS's 3.8 average. In households and viewers, CBS is the number one network. NBC is third with a 3.3 in A18-49, FOX fourth with a 3.0 in A18-49, CW fifth with a 1.2 in A18-49 while MyNetworkTV brings up the rear with a 0.4 in A18-49.

On a year-over-year basis, FOX and MyNetworkTV are the only networks showing year-over-year improvement. CBS and ABC are mostly down in single digits while NBC and The CW continue to sustain double-digit year-over-year losses of young adult demo, households and viewers.

Umm...that's nice. They're on different networks and what CBS replaced The Class with is growing out of HIMYM.

That growth should be all the evidence NBC needs to cancel 30 Rock and put anything else on instead. You brag about 30 Rock's numbers, but they are bad. 30 Rock loses viewers at a time when the HUT level is growing.

I wasn't agreeing with it being left off (I actually don't care about the winners/losers list) just trying to give justification.

But, looks like Marc just forgot to type it in, so its a non issue now. Cool

Grey's may endup being down a 1.5 million viewers from a year ago, while CSI should be UP over a million viewers from a year ago.

Perhaps that's why is NOT on the Winners list this week.

I'm not. They are perfectly befitting the lackluster episodes this season. Out of 7, they've had 3 that have been good. 2 were atrocious. It was almost like scabs wrote them. Scratch that, scabs couldn't write anything that bad. I could go a thousand lifetimes without seeing any more of Tim Stack's witless attempts to rip off "Reno 911" (which, let the record state, do it 100 times better without scripts).

Last night was back on track, thankfully -- even though it was basically just a retread of "The Gangs of Camden County" -- but it's hard not to think that the damage has been done. "Earl" used to crack a 5.0 rating in the demo.

P.S. If you-know-who reads this, instead of being ticked off, take it to heart and get the show back on track before the ratings fall even further.

I agree, I haven't seen a comedy go down in quality this fast in a long time. I gave up recording it for the time being. Maybe I'll give it another chance down the road

Yea, but is the case with both, the total viewer numbers suck.

Math is definitely not your strong suit. Razzer

Check the average again. It might be that you transposed two numbers in Smallville's average. 4.59 (4.60) instead of 4.95?

Last weeks double episode was pretty good. (The COPS TV show episodes have all been good.)

Hey Marc, what were the half hour breakdowns of Big Shots? Did that show take a big hit in the second half hour?

But it should be 4.595, not 4.95, if the half-hour breakdown numbers you listed are correct. You flip-flopped the decimal places in the final average.
