Really interesting ratings last night, but I must point out an error for the CW. If Gossip Girl got a 1.6 demo and One Tree Hill got a 1.2 demo then how did the network average a 1.6?
Another thing, Congratulations Big Bang Theory for beating outright DWTS. HIMYM also tied DWTS in the demos and for the hour the comedies beat DWTS.
SNL did really good but NBC better not get use to those numbers
Worst Week and Samantha Who? are both losers, even CSI:MIAMI is as well.
Over at Fox, the combination of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Viewers: #4, 5.16 million; A18-49: #3t, 2.0/ 5) and tired Prison Break (Viewers: #4, 5.23 million; A18-49: #4, 2.1/ 5)
As soon a the Nov. sweeps are done, I would pull new episodes of T:SCC until it is able to be paired with 24 come January.
If PB does comeback, it will be after the '09 MARCH Sweeps, in April

Still, a good night for the CW, once again.
There's no need since OTH once again beats GG in demos. And with much toughr competition
Oh, come on. But, they didn't have more viewers, so I should be gloating about that? I know this a continous Monday thing between you and I, but I just fail to see the need to continue to bash one show and prop the other one up when they are insanely compatible with one another. Sure, the CW favors one over the other, but as a fan of the network, and both shows, I commend them both for decent performances. But, continue bashing GG....

That's about right. Note to ABC: try putting laughs in your comedies. Then people might watch them.

But lead-in Deal or No Deal celebrated its 200th episode with an uneventful 7.08 million viewers (#3) and a 2.0/ 5 in the demo (#3t) from 8-9 p.m.
I thought this might get some traction if it returned to its old home, but... guess not. Should have never been moved in the first place. Now it's dead.

The only way people will watch this is if FOX flips "24" and it. Certainly, no one will if "24" is on at 9:00.
-- "Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."

ABC: Boston Legal is another example of ABC failing to keep ahold of viewers in the 10pm hour. maybe ABC needs to offer something more serious late in the evening?
NBC: Wow for SNL...will this be enough to put them ahead of CBS in the demo for the week (similar to FOX's surprise surge last week on the back of The Simpsons)?
CBS: I would blame the Worst Week horrible numbers on the SNL special, but CBS viewers were back for CSI:Miami. I think WW has simply been rejected and it won't get appreciably better in viewership going forward.
CW: SNL killed One Tree Hill. I think this is a sign that OTH's strength this year has been partly due to Heroes falling apart. Luckily, OTH won't have to face any more SNL specials.
FOX: I'm not sure why someone would think that Terminator is being 'favored' over Prison Break. Both shows are unworthy of renewal...and really, unworthy of back 9 orders as well.
Where else are they going to put it? Tuesdays is full of AI. Wednesday is half full of AI. They wont use it on Thursday or Friday or Saturday.
Monday is all that is left, like it or not.

OTH did close to last week's numbers, so how was it killed?
And SCC is favoured beacause PB belongs at 8pm. But they knew SCC would get 3 million viewers at 9pm
Gossip Girl did what it was supposed to, but something seems wrong with OTH's numbers. It hasn't been under 3 million viewers in a few seasons, and it slips to 2.35 last night?
As for Prison Break, the numbers have held up from this seasons premiere, and thats nice to see since it means the show will probably get its 22 episodes to wrap things up.
Although I hope that the last scene of the show is them taking down the company, then Sarah seeing Michael succumb to his disease...
