Well, Gossip built from it's lead in, but... so did Life is Wild.

Any chance the Sci-Fi Channel will pick it up?

The hope of a Sci-Fi Channel pick up was what myself and other fans of SURFACE hoped for after it was canceled but that never materialized and it had stronger ratings than JOURNEYMAN....

Peace!

They probably aired a new Gossip Girl hoping to keep momentum going for the show. Given how bad Crowned is doing, it is time for them to rehink that and save all the new Gossip Girls for the next time ANTM comes around. Meanwhile, Crowned should probably be cut back to fewer viewings per week so that the 'fans' care more to tune in at a specific time.

The SAG awards nominations are way fairer than the Golden Globe ones. The critics are already slamming the nominations beacause Friday Night Lights and Pushing Daisies were snubbed. Nice work SAG

Because it was a Christmas-themed episode, and, unlike FOX, they apparently know when Christmas actually is.

"Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."

The SAG awards are based upon the number of years working in 'the business', right? That seems to be what they are going for, anyway.

I would suspect that it will be back soon after the new year, if the strike is still in its current situation.

ABC still has plenty of holes to fill becuase of the strike.

The Golden Globes, voted on exclusively by a small group of entertainment reporters working for foreign newspapers, are easy to manipulate--SAG, WGA, Emmy--not so much.

The acting is flat-out horrible on Daisies. Not surprising SAG didn't take to it.

I watch Gossip Girl too. Thank goodness for the DVR. I can't believe the show was rated so low.

ABC ran an episode of October Road and they were showing the leaves turning and talking about post- Christmas stuff. They are ALL messed up.

It was nice to see a Christmas episode of GG the week BEFORE Christmas.

At least you were able to see October Road. They broadcast it in the middle of the night in chicago and then the whole episode was unwatchable because for some reason, the background music and sounds were playing but none of the voices could be heard. (This happens once in awhile on the HD side of town, but usually somebody is awake to fix it after a few minutes.) I suppose if I could read lips, it would have been OK, but unfortunately, I don't.

Seeing the nominations i would say they are based on quality. Anyway anything is better than that joke that is called Golden Globe Award.

aren't the duel numbers almost identical to the "show me the money" numbers from last year? low 7 million and low demo's. and wasn't show me the money considered by all... a flop? kinda funny.

Futon Critic has a nice summary of the episode and return date shuffles of the last couple of days.
