Wow...Gossip Girl slipped more than a million viewers from its last new episode. Why did the CW even air a new episode last night? Those ratings are not good at all. Most repeats on the net do better.

Peace!

Wow, I came in to see how Clash of the Choirs did last night and saw the hit Gossip Girl took. OUCH. Maybe they should have aired their holiday episode earlier in the month?

What Would Riggins Do?

Yeah, I love Gossip Girl, but I didn't realize there was a new one on. I would have missed it without the DVR.

I wonder if networks will reconsider showing one new episode in between weeks of reruns. I know they want to parcel out the remaining eps, but it doesn't seem to be working ratings wise for many shows.

Duel has been pretty steady. ABC did more harm than good by airing those stretched out 90 minute shows. If the finale on Sunday does well, I think it will return.

Seems to work for Smallville and Supernatural. Their fans know when episodes air. Of course, everybody seems to watch GG on iTunes.

Aside from CW shows, there's been some season lows for network shows like Criminal Minds and either one of the CSI's or L&O's. Probably partly due to the holiday, people assume everything is repeats now anyway. But playing one episode surrounded by repeats messes with the casual fans.

Sorry to see "Journeyman" end its run of episodes on a low ratings, but it did end on a good note with more info on why Dan was travelling, a look at what happenes to the previous traveler, and Katie Vasser got to see Dan disappear on one of his trips.

Any chance the Sci-Fi Channel will pick it up?

Riggins would totally have aired the episode earlier in the month (i.e. last week after the Top Model finale).

Well On the odd week Smallville had a sizeable decrease in viewers (close to a million).

Supernatural on the other hand, improved over its last original episode, slightly.

Now whether thats do to Supernatural having more psychotic fans (I mean devoted) and the others ahving more casual fans, who knows. We would need to see more examples to really judge.

Of course it for Gossip Girls you also might factor that it heavily depended on America's Next Top Model to help gain viewers and with it gone......
