BACK To You is a dead show, unfortunately. Kelsey Grammer has already accepted another role for a mid-season sitcom on ABC, IIRC.
That's just my signature-LOL, but I have been getting word that meetings are still taking place and the show isn't as dead as some might think. I'm just keeping hope alive!

What CBS should do is air this instead of The Amazing Race in the fall - it would probably do better out of 60 Minutes and beat it in total viewers. Just a thought.
I completely agree that Million Dollar Password is a strong show. It may never get great demos, but the viewer numbers are impressive especially for summer. However, I think moving (or canceling) Amazing Race for it would be a bad move. CBS is better off using Password for filler when something fails or between Amazing Race seasons.
Million Dollar Password is just like Power of 10 last summer. While it is on against weak Summer competition it will do fine. If it is put up against stronger Fall competition its ratings will drop. It can be used as a Summer show or filler only. It cannot be used as a regular Fall show.
Marc, do you know the ratings for TBS in the 9:00 hour last night? I am curious how new episodes of "The Bill Engvall Show" and "My Boys" did, epseically after the special "Engvall" airing on CBS Monday night.
I completely disagree with you on this one. If we look at Power of 10, that show was only getting around 7 million last summer, whereas MDP is very steady with 9-10 million. I think it would do great against competition in the fall, but that's just my opinion. I think CBS should give it a trialrun in the fall, because we'll never know if it never happens.
Swingtown and Fear Itself both took huge drops. With those ratings, I don't expect either to hang around past this summer. It is a shame because Fear Itself isn't that bad.
I completely agree that even though Million Dollar Password is doing well in viewers, demos are low. CBS will kill it if it has a full season in the fall or even mid-season just like Power of 10. In between cycles of Amazing Race might work or keep it as a summer show.

I think that 2.9 includes the game for at least the Central Time Zone, so the Jimmy Kimmel show was probably significantly lower than that. We won't know what it actually got until the finals.

Million Dollar Password does fine, but it's demo is too low for CBS to risk airing it during the regular season, IMO.
According to Wikipedia, I guess the show was doing around 8-9 million, but dropped off to 7 million by the end of the summer. MDP is still doing 9-10 million, and has been extremely consitent for its 3 episodes so far. Like I said before, I think CBS should try it in the fall, because we'll never know how it does if it never airs then.

I think the female relationship will be cool.
I don't think CBS would do that. CBS is not going to replace The Amazing Race which gets a low 3 demo for a show that does just as well in the ratings but struggles to get above a 2 demo.
