Don't forget that we have three interactive features at this forum right now: the P.I. Feedback Challenge, Lemon Awards and the Big Brother 8 Popularity Contest!

By the way, far and away, best show of the fall that I've seen so far: Big Bang Theory (CBS) - this show will be on my weekly watch list!

The best part of the weekend though, was seeing Lindsey Lohan's movie tank with just $3.8 million taken in. Justice is served!

I'm kind of torn on the Lindsay Lohan situation. On the one hand, she keeps endangering the lives of people by getting behind the wheel drunk, high, whatever and she clearly hasn't recognized her demons and gotten PURPOSEFUL help (Promises, the rehab center, looks like a hotel). On the other hand, she clearly has parents and friends who are enabling her and she can actually act (unlike the Parises of the world). She actually has some talent.

I don't think she's hit rock bottom, yet. Someone needs to sit her down and tell her the deal. If casting directors, insurance companies, etc. of movies aren't willing to cast her because of her volatile personality, then maybe that's what she needs to realize that she can't just do what she wants.

Well that's the real question: When are the Producers going to realize she's not an Automatic BO commodity, no matter how well she personally acts? At some point, her well's going to run dry.

I fully acknowledge I was off (although I think my guess was in the $40-50 million range).

I also liked the 7-11 in Seattle transformed into a Kwik-E Mart

I posted a statement earlier in the week (read it here) concerning recent limitations in retrieving ratings information.

I know I'm just throwing out there but does anyone have access to the websites of Nielsen Media Research and/or Hollywood Reporter? I mention Hollywood Reporter because there's a link to "a full ratings chart" (Please don't subscribe the monthly fee just due to my request - only if you happen to be a current subscriber to Hollywood Reporter)

If you do have info, just e-mail Marc with a disclaimer that it's meant for me and the PI Feedback Challenge. Of course, all about the TV ratings for me and if you have any other avenue to access extensive ratings, let me or Marc know.

Me too. It's very sad. Dina Lohan is a discrace. I couldn't believe it when she took ET to visit Lindsay in Rehab. Someone in rehab should not be doing television interviews but focusing on getting well. Her father needs to work on being there behind the cameras. Not in front of them. On the other hand we can't excuse her for drinking and driving. I think it's definitly time for jail. She needs to wake up and see that she is ruining her life and could easily have killed anyone when she was stupid enough to get behind the wheel.

Someone else whome I'm scared for is Britney Spears. She is acting very erratic and just plain scary. I never thought she would go this far. I'm afraid shes gonna hurt herfelf or her kids. She needs to stay home! Right now her career isn't even worth thinking about. She needs to worry about being a healthy person so she can be the mother her kids deserve.

Ok, sorry! Back to TV talk. It's just so sad watching these girls act this way and then get so much attention for it. Fame is scary. They need people around them telling them this behavior is not ok and really keep them accountable. What's it gonna take for them to realize what they're doing? I hope noone has to get seriously injured or even killed.

Travis, any final nationals on the Friday cable shows like Monk, Psych, etc.?

Also in your final nationals posts, could you post stuff like Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN or even any NASCAR on ESPN? If not, that's okay - worth a try!

I wonder if that is the lowest rating for a repeat of COLD CASE ever? It seems like a surprising low number since proceedural repeat a lot better than that..and it even lost viewers from BIG BROTHER.

My theory is that everyone was over on cable for DISCOVEY channels SHARK WEEK kick off with the INDIANAPOLIS tale made famous from Quint's monologue in JAWS.

Just saw Big Bang Theory pilot, or most of it, and it's truely wonderful. Now time for Back to You, hope Kelsey Grammer can pull his role off in this like Frasier.
